General Information: The 2nd grade program is open to all boys and girls in the 2nd grade, and is coeducational. There is one weekday afternoon practice per week, enough after school to allow time to travel there from other schools as needed. Practices start the week of November 1st and run through early February. Players are introduced to basketball skills through a variety of drills and games.

The season starts the week of November 1st and runs through early February, with one weeknight practice per week, and one Saturday game per week. The teams are introduced to competitive situations with refereed games.
