How to Start the Basketball Game on Messenger?
Here are the simple steps to start playing basketball with your friends in Facebook messenger.
First, open up a chat with your friend inside the Messenger App.
Next, Click on the emoji icon.
Browse to the third emoji tab marked by an Alarm Symbol. Find and Click on the basketball emoji.
Now, Send that basketball emoji to your friend.
After the message gets sent, Click on the Basketball.
Bingo! You have successfully started the basketball game. You should see a new screen with the basketball game.
In that page, You can see the basket on the top of the page, and a ball at the bottom of the page.
How to play Basketball inside Facebook Messenger?
So here are the simple steps to begin playing the game. Start playing by touching the ball with a finger and swiping it towards the basket.
For every successful shot inside the basket, you get one point.
After you successfully throw a basket each time, some nice emojis will come out of the basket. 🙂
After 10 Points, the basket starts moving towards left and right and you need to aim faster.
After every 10 Points, the speed of the basket increasesgradually.
Your game is over once you miss the basket.
Once you end game, your friend will know how much you scored. It will be displayed inside the messenger.
The high score will be saved for future in the top right corner of the game screen. If you beat it, the score will be replaced with yours.

While there are some that are hidden and need a bit of handiwork to unlock – which we've outlined below – others are now more in plain sight.

Facebook has finally got the hint and been adding a load of games into the main Messenger app. Although these are regularly updated, there have been two main waves, the first in May 2017 and the second in December 2017. You'll find the 'Games' button down near the camera button on both iOS and Android.

Facebook already had a version of the O.G mobile gaming phenomenon, Snake, from when they started adding games early on. But since the addition of Facebook Stories in early 2017, the social media giant has woven in an AR version of Nokia's Snake, especially for Facebook Stories.
You can access Snake via this link, then head to your notifications on your mobile app, click it and the special Snake filter will unlock in your Facebook camera. The game allows your to choose between three settings - slow, normal, fast - then place your pudgy snake on the ground using your front-facing camera, then simply begin gobbling up apples. Ssssssweet.

Unearthing the Euro 2016-inspired Facebook football game is pleasingly painless, too. If you've ensured you're running the latest iteration of Messenger, all you have to do is unearth the football emoji and send it to a mate.

Instead, typing "@fbchess play" into a chat window should see a digital chessboard appear in a magical, Harry Potter-impressing fashion.
Now all you've got to do is master how to control the thing – something that's easier said than done. Instead of pointing and clicking to move your pieces, you're going to have to remember some shortcuts and square locations.

Every time you want to make a move, you'll need to type "@fbchess" followed by the piece abbreviation and the code for the square you want the piece to fill - confused?
OK, so here, K stands for King, Q for queen, B for Bishop, N for knight (are we all really that dense?), R for rook, and P for pawn. So, moving your king to square C5 needs you to enter "@fbchess Kc5" - got it?

How to play basketball on Messenger
First of all, it is important to remember that these games can really only be accessed from the Facebook Messenger app, so about browsers and the regular Facebook app is out of the question. To get started, open Messenger and select the conversation you want to play games in.
Go to the emoji tab and find basketball and football emoji. Send a basketball to your friend and it will appear like any other normal emoji.
To see the difference, click on this emoji once it's sent. This will unlock the game of basketball, which consists of trying to score as many points in a row as possible.
When you leave the game your score will be shown in the chat and your friend can try to beat your high score if you want to play too.
Seeing a football match is the same thing. Just select the soccer ball emoji, send it to your friend and touch it right away.
Of course the game of football is a little different and you have to keep touching the ball without letting it fall. A little harder than basketball, this will be a good way to challenge your friends.
