Quick Look: The NCAA March Madness Live channel on Roku provides college hoops fans with live tournament action from the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship, along with on-demand highlights, bracket updates, schedules and scores, the ability to follow your picks. Only non-CBS games will be carried live on this app; games on CBS can be viewed on Paramount+. (Live games are available only in the U.S., U.S. territories, and Bermuda.)

All users get a free 3-hour preview, after which you will need to subscribe to a participating pay TV service to continue watching live games that are carries on TBS, TNT, and truTV. Participating cable/satellite providers include AT&T Uverse, Cox, DIRECTV, Dish, Optimum, Spectrum, SuddenLink, Verizon, and Xfinity, along with dozens of local and regional providers. You can also activate NCAA March Madness Live for live tournament coverage if you subscribe to one of the following live streaming TV services: DIRECTV STREAM, Sling TV, Hulu with Live TV, or YouTube TV.

If you subscribe to a participating pay TV service, here is how to activate NCAA March Madness Live on your Roku device:

• Launch the NCAA March Madness Live channel and select the Settings option in the left-hand menu.
• Go to www.ncaa.com/activate in a web browser, select Roku, and enter the registration code shown on your TV screen.
• You will be asked to select your TV provider and enter your username and password for that service. The Roku app will automatically update.

The NCAA March Madness Live app provides a number of short videos that include Bracket Tips Classic Moments, and you can always check the updated bracket as shown in the screenshots below.

Also available on NCAA March Madness Live is a "Picks" option that lets you play along by making picks on your mobile device. From within the NCAA March Madness Live Roku channel, scan the QR code on the TV screen with your mobile device to download install the NCAA March Madness Live app on the device. Make your picks on the mobile device to create your own bracket, then return to the Picks option in the Roku channel on Eastern on March 17 to follow your picks.

NCAA March Madness Live is also available on Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, XBox One, and select LG televisions.

How to watch NCAA March Madness on Roku

The NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship, also known as March Madness, begins with the "First Four" on Tuesday, March 15. Play continues through the Final Four on April 2 and the National Championship on April 4. Games will be broadcast on CBS, TBS, truTV, and TNT, with the non-CBS games also being streamed on the NCAA March Madness Live app, available on Roku and other streaming devices. Read on to learn how to stream all of the March Madness games on your Roku.

Here is where the various championship rounds will be broadcast:

Local CBS stations are available in select markets if you subscribe to DIRECTV STREAM, fuboTV, Hulu with Live TV, or YouTube TV. If you don't subscribe to any of these, your only option for watching First Round, Second Round, Sweet Sixteen, and Elite Eight games on Roku will be with a Paramount+ Premium subscription, which includes live streaming of your local CBS station. Paramount+ Premium is $9.99/month after a 7-day free trial and you can cancel at any time.

To watch March Madness competition on TBS, TNT, and truTV, you can subscribe to DIRECTV STREAM, Sling TV, fuboTV, Hulu with Live TV, or YouTube TV, all of which include these cable channels. All of the non-CBS games will also be streamed live on the NCAA March Madness Live Roku app, which gives you three free hours of use.
