How to stream NBA playoff games

If you do not have a traditional cable/satellite subscription, you can still stream the full NBA playoff TV schedule via streaming providers YouTube TV, Sling and DirecTV Stream. Each of those platforms has ESPN, TNT and NBA TV. Hulu with Live TV has ESPN and TNT but not NBA TV; Fubo TV has ESPN and NBA TV but not TNT.

If you do not receive TNT through your cable or satellite provider, all of TNT games will be streamed for free via TNT Overtime (available in the NBA app). The TNT Overtime streams do not include the usual camera angles or announcers.

If you do not receive NBA TV as part of your cable/streaming/satellite package, you can purchase the network standalone for $7/month or $59/year through this link.

If you subscribe to ESPN or TNT through a cable, satellite or streaming provider, you can watch games through the ESPN app (ESPN and ABC) or the WatchTNT app (TNT). Authentication is required.

Changes from last season

For the first time since 2009, ABC is scheduled to carry conference final games in primetime. What would be Games 3 and 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals would air on ABC May 21 and 23 at 8:30 PM ET.

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, Variety may receive an affiliate commission.

The NBA Playoffs are in full swing since kicking off last week, and we can expect an action-packed competition over the next few weeks. No. 1 seed Phoenix can be expected to bring a strong game to the Western Conference, while the Eastern Conference will likely see close matches between the Heat, Celtics and Bucks.

Eyes will be on the Suns tonight who will face off against the New Orleans Pelicans for what will likely be a close game in Devin Booker’s absence.

If you’re looking to catch all the action from home this year, there are plenty of ways to stream the most anticipated games online — even if you don’t have cable. Below is everything you need to know to watch the 2022 NBA Playoffs:

When Are the 2022 NBA Playoffs?

Sling TV is the most comprehensive and affordable way to stream all the necessary networks for the Playoffs. The streamer’s Sling Orange package includes ESPN, TBS and ESPN3. Just recently we collected a selection of NBA games that you can watch during the lockdown, and now we've decided to offer you something more eternal. We've rounded up 7 classic NBA games for you where the real action took place. This is a timeless selection that you can always return to to immerse yourself in the history of intense confrontations.

What NBA games to watch during the lockdown?

What NBA games to watch during the lockdown?

We help you find entertainment during the new lockdown.

Chicago vs. Utah, Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals

You should definitely see this match in full. The final match of Michael Jordan in the “Chicago”. A brilliant confrontation in terms of the intensity of passions, where the legendary NBA players came together in battle: Stockton, Malone, Jordan, Pippen, Rodman. Even if you know the result and know the denouement, it will still be interesting for you to watch.

"Boston" - "Chicago", the 6th match of the first round of the playoffs in 2009

One of the toughest and most principled first-round confrontations. Here you'll see one of the best Chicago lineups of the new era, prime Boston, three overtimes, a tough defense against Tony Allen, Ray Allen's 55 points, Joaquim Noah at his best, and more. A real kill!

Lakers - Boston, Game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals

This match is the perfect end to the final series. Kobe Bryant vs big trio from Boston. Everything is decided in the ending, which could have been a sad chapter in Kobe's biography, but he had an unexpected savior. You won't find that kind of tension anywhere else. Possibly one of the best NBA games ever.

Lakers - Toronto, regular season 2005/2006

81 points from you-know-who. The hardest day of Jalen Rose's career.

Indiana v. Knicks, 1995 NBA Playoffs 1st Round

This match could be a guide to writing dramatic endings for plays. Throughout the game, Reggie Miller listened to Spike Lee screaming from the stands, gaining strength and anger to commit the perfect revenge and shut up the Knicks fan forever. After this match, Spike Lee retreated for a very long time, and the fans blamed him for the most unexpected defeat of the club. Phones can be charged from voltage.

Philadelphia - Lakers, Game 1, 2001 NBA Finals

This was the end of Allen Iverson's fairy tale, the ceiling of his basketball career. Perhaps one of the most legendary shots in the modern NBA happened in this match (Tyron Liu certainly did not forget him). Shaq and Kobe are trying to hold back Iverson, who will forever win our hearts with his crazy basketball.

Chicago vs. Phoenix, Game 6 of the 1993 NBA Finals

This match will also forever go down in NBA history, because Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley met in a principled struggle here. It's feline grace against unstoppable power. We advise you to stock up on popcorn, because you will definitely remember the denouement for a long time.

Jerseys, T-shirts, sweatshirts and socks with the logos of your favorite NBA teams can be purchased at the Streetball store.

The main favorites of the European Basketball Championship starting on September 1 will be the teams of France, Serbia, Slovenia and Spain

(Photo © 2022 Getty Images)

41st European Basketball Championship will be held from 1 to 18 September 2022 in four countries - Germany, Italy, Georgia and the Czech Republic. 24 teams will take part in the tournament, which at the preliminary stage are divided into four groups of six teams.

Four winners from each group advance to the playoffs and then compete for medals according to the classic playoff system, starting from the 1/8 finals. The full schedule of matches of the European Championship 2022 can be viewed here .

For the first time in almost eight decades, the tournament will take place after a five-year break. From 19From 47 to 2017, the European Championships were held with strict frequency - once every two years. However, on the eve of the European Championship 2017, it was decided to change the entire international basketball calendar, and the interval between the EuroBaskets was supposed to be four years. But then the pandemic intervened, due to which the current tournament was postponed for another year, so the pause between the European Championships this time turned out to be completely unique in duration.

It is very difficult to name the favorites of the European Championship 2022, which confirms the completely unpredictable development of events in the European qualification of the upcoming World Championship in a year. It is unlikely that anyone could have imagined that the first of the Old World teams to travel to the 2023 World Cup will be won by the Finnish team, and in the group with Serbia, Greece and Turkey, the Latvian team will take a confident lead. So there will certainly be a lot of surprises at the upcoming EuroBasket.

Of particular interest to the tournament is the participation in it of two, perhaps, the main stars of European basketball, playing overseas. The most valuable NBA player of the last two seasons, Nikola Jokic from Denver, will play for the Serbian national team, and Luka Doncic representing Dallas will be the leader of the Slovenian national team. In the NBA, Jokic's status has been noticeably higher lately, but the Serbian center still does not have a single major international title in the national team - his best achievement for it is the silver of the 2016 Olympic Games. Doncic is the reigning European champion as part of the Slovenian team, which, largely thanks to his game, was able to get into the top four at the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020. So the dispute between the main basketball stars of Serbia and Slovenia promises to be very principled. Moreover, according to the tournament grid, they will definitely not meet before the quarterfinals, and at this stage, each match will already be in the spotlight.

Of course, the main favorites of the tournament include the best European team at the 2020 Olympics - France, which lost only 5 points to the US team in the final of the Games in Tokyo. Evan Fournier , Rudy Gobert , Thomas Ertel and their partners will certainly try to return to their country a title that Basketball France held only once in history.

But the Spaniards, after the failure at the Olympics in Tokyo, where they did not even make it to the semifinals, have greatly updated their squad.
