Men's Basketball Ticket Information - Duke University
MEN'S BASKETBALL SEASON TICKETS
Priority levels as of July 20, 2022 will be used in assigning tickets for the 2022-23 season. The projected Stadium Level for a pair of tickets in 2022-23 for new donors is $8,000/year with a 3-year commitment. Stadium level for seat holders prior to the 2016-17 season remains at $7,000/year. All Iron Duke members at Stadium Level are mailed a season ticket application. Once all applications are returned to Duke Athletics, the Iron Dukes priority system is used to allocate available seats, starting from the top of the priority list and working down.

If the demand for season basketball tickets exceeds supply, Iron Dukes priority (amount of annual gift to the Iron Dukes, a record of cumulative athletics giving, plus years of continuous membership) will be used for new season ticket requests. This is an allocation; tickets are purchased separately. If you have questions regarding Men's Basketball Season Tickets, contact our office at (919) 613-7575.
IRON DUKES MEMBERSHIP AND SEASON TICKETS PURCHASE RIGHTS
Iron Dukes members who desire to purchase season tickets to Duke Men’s Basketball in Cameron Indoor Stadium or Duke Football in Blue Devil Tower must make annual contributions to the Iron Dukes Annual Fund in an amount determined by Duke Athletics. Under the 2017 Tax Act, all donations that directly or indirectly provide the right to seating at an athletic event in a Duke athletic stadium are not deductible for tax purposes.
Gifts or grants from the following sources do NOT satisfy any amount required to be contributed for the right to purchase season tickets in either Cameron Indoor Stadium for Duke Men’s Basketball or Blue Devil Tower for Duke Football:
1. Donor-advised funds
2. Private foundations
3. Other charitable organizations
4. Employer matching gift programs
5. Individual retirement accounts (IRA) charitable rollovers
6. Appreciated stock/securities
Duke may accept donations from these sources, but no ticket purchase rights will be conveyed. Donors may receive no more than an incidental benefit from Duke, directly or indirectly, as a result of any gifts or payments from such sources. Duke University does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. The information presented is intended for educational purposes only. All donors are strongly encouraged to consult professional counsel with respect to their personal circumstances.
DUKE MEN'S BASKETBALL TICKET WAITLIST (INDIVIDUAL/ADDITIONAL GAME TICKETS)
Duke members are given the opportunity to request any individual away game tickets or additional game tickets if available. These opportunities include tickets to any preseason tournaments or certain non-conference away games. The goal of the Duke Men's Basketball Ticket Waitlist is to place Duke fans in seats that might otherwise go unused when season ticket holders are unable to make it to an individual game. The Duke Men's Basketball Ticket Waitlist will be active when basketball season begins.
MEN'S BASKETBALL ACC AND NCAA TOURNAMENT TICKETS
The projected priority level for Men's Basketball ACC and NCAA Tournament tickets is based on such factors as the number of tickets Duke is allotted, the location of the games, and the opponents. Usually, there are very few tickets available for games in the earlier rounds. Priority levels as of December 31, 2022, will be used. All Iron Dukes members will receive ACC and NCAA ticketing information in the weeks prior to the respective tournaments. Members at qualifying give levels will be able to place requests through www.GoDuke.com or over the phone through the Duke Athletic Ticket Office.
DUKE UNIVERSITY TICKET SCALPING POLICY
Ticket scalping is against Duke University policy and is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized resale of tickets will result in loss of ticket purchasing privileges for all Duke Athletic events including ACC Tournament and NCAA competition. Additionally, tickets held for remaining contests will be voided without refund. Duke Athletics strongly encourages all Duke Men's Basketball season ticket holders to take advantage of the Duke Men's Basketball Ticket Waitlist. If you are unfamiliar with how this exclusive program works, please see above for more information. Once again, Duke Athletics would like to thank you in advance for being a responsible fan!

Duke basketball ticket prices for Coach K final Cameron game
The final game is all that remains on Duke’s home basketball schedule and in Mike Krzyzewski’s tenure coaching the Blue Devils.
On March 5, when Duke plays rival North Carolina at 6 p.m., it will be the last time Krzyzewski coaches the Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
All season, this game has been pointed to as the most sought-after ticket in sports. Yes, even more than the Super Bowl.
Back on Feb. 11, the secondary market outlet tickpick.com reported the cheapest ticket available for Duke-UNC that day ($3,924) had surpassed the get-in price for Super Bowl LVI, which was $3,501.
Since then, the price continues to rise.
As of Monday night, the cheapest ticket to Duke-UNC on tickpick.com was $4,000. The most expensive topped out at $21,090.
Other popular secondary market sites like VividSeats.com and StubHub.com showed similar numbers. Tickets on VividSeats.com ranged from $3,141 to $17,632 plus fees.
At StubHub.com, the range is $3,000 to $79,988 plus fees.
And these aren’t even for seats near the court. Most of the tickets listed on the secondary market are in the upper level seating areas.
Only a few tickets in Section 19, the seating areas directly behind the bench areas and the scorer’s table, are up for sale.
On StubHub, two Section 19 tickets on row H, sitting to the right of UNC’s bench, are listed at $9,399. Four others in the same area are $10,000.
Two more Section 19 seats, on row F, are $18,000 each.
VividSeats shows two Section 19, row F, seats at $15,525 each.
TickPick has two seats in Section 19, row F, at $19,527 each.
Many charities have auctioned or raffled off tickets so that good causes benefit from the event. Many of them have finished up.
There are at least two still available, though.
One benefits Durham’s CaringHouse.org, which provides housing for families and caregivers accompanying patients receiving treatment at Duke Cancer Institute. That organization has two tickets in Section 15, four rows up from the top of the student section and separated from the Cameron Crazies by a brass bar, available via auction through March 1 at noon.
The top bid as of Monday night was $11,530.
Another auction, to benefit Duke’s men’s and women’s track and field program, also has two tickets available. The starting bid is $10,000 and the auction ends on Sunday at 11:59 p.m.
Of course, nothing is expected to top the $1 million price for four tickets and weekend lodging that was paid last August at a Napa Valley auction benefiting the Jimmy V Foundation for cancer research.
