Editors’ Notes
If you want to play fantasy sports, there are—ahem—leagues of apps to choose from. But we think ESPN Fantasy might be the MVP. Its minimal interface stays out of our way so we can focus on draft picks, trades, and managing our lineup. But the best part? ESPN’s got mini-stories on all of the hot prospects. So the more time we spend actually using the app, the better our team ends up.
Football position expansion
I think that there should be a Punt and Kick Returner position in football, and perhaps a punter too, my idea is however many net yards there is on a punt, punt yards-return yards should be . 1 points. And then kick/ punt returners having .1 per yard and 15 for a touchdown because of how rare a TD on a punt or kick return is. Another position that is a bit less likely but may work is an O line, hear me out. Maybe a scoring system could be just however many rushing yards their team has, but there would also be minuses for sacks, negative yards, and penalties like holding, false start and ineligible receiver downfield. One last thing but this one is about a new league game, golf. There are many websites to do this with, but what I am thinking is instead of having occasional games for Streak or betting, you can have an actual league game, you draft 20 golfers, and each tournament the players you draft will play, and if some of your players don’t make the cut or withdraw from the tournament then you can pick some players with a budget of around 1000 coins or points or whatever and the better players have a higher cost. This might be hard but It would be cool to have, thanks.
Was amazing! Small changes have made it worse
I really hope someone that works on the app actually sees this and takes it to heart because I use the app every single day. My 2 biggest issues stem from changes that were made to the app in the prior months and the first of the 2 is the inability to uphold trades as an LM from the app. This used to be possible from the activity screen but it is no longer an option and forces LM’s to have to go on the website and uphold trades from there. The second issue is the “Interested In” section of all free agent waiver pools in each fantasy sport shows everyone how many people are interested in a player. I used this feature to track players that I was in fact, interested in, but I can no longer do that and have to keep a notes section open in my phone just so that other members of my league don’t see that someone else is interested in said waiver player. This was never an issue before but an update changed this so all I ask is for this to be changed back! Other than these 2 things this app is amazing and it is so easy to manage all fantasy sports in one place, please make these 2 changes it would mean a lot! Thank you!

The Fantasy Football Leagues are in full swing, but despite this, sometimes you might need to leave a league.
If you’re in an ESPN fantasy football league and need to leave, it’s not as difficult as you may think.

Fantasy Football on ESPN+ has millions of users and a variety of features to customize players, leagues and teams.
ESPN offers public, private and custom leagues with prizes for the winners. Different scoring options are available, including point-per-reception (PPR).
Play in the ESPN fantasy app or on the desktop site and in a variety of sports like baseball.
Follow these simple steps when you leave a league as a team manager:
Click the fantasy link in the top right corner of the ESPN web page;
Here is a list of your team names;
Go to the team page of the team you are leaving;
On the team page, click the “Leave League” link;
Click on the leave league link to confirm;
Click “Yes, I Want to Leave This League”.
It is a courtesy to follow the leave league link before the league’s draft occurs. Once drafted, you do not get the option to leave.
After the draft occurs, team managers can only leave the league by requesting that the league manager removes them. League managers can delete team managers. To do this, go to the desktop site’s league tab and find the league notes under the big picture on the main league page.
Once team managers have left a league, you will lose access to the team page.
League managers can choose the delete league option if they want to leave an entire league, ideally, before the league’s draft takes place.
To delete a league:
Go to the “LM Tools tab” on the web
Scroll below the “League and scoring settings tools” and find the “League Manager Tools” page under the heading “League administration tools.”
Tap “Delete League” and confirm league deletion in the LM tools. You will have to confirm league deletion twice if you wish to delete the league.
League deletion is permanent.
If you are a manager of a league and want to leave the league, you can designate a new league manager:
Go to the “League management page.”
Click on the “LM Tools Tab.”
Find “Assign League Manager Powers.”
From there, select a new league manager.
If you want to delete your ESPN account altogether:
Go to the “Account settings page”.
Click on “Delete account”.
Confirm your decision.
Click on “Yes, Delete This Account”.
You do not need to subscribe to ESPN+ to join a league. You can sign up for fantasy football on the web for free only during the draft. You can also cancel your ESPN+ subscription and keep playing fantasy football.
If you do want to watch the real football league or other sports, why not sign up for ESPN+?

Fantasy Basketball – Who's hot, who's cold, and who's coming back? – MetroTimesAtlanta
Here is a list of the most fantastic current news and notes for all 30 teams:
Atlanta Hawks: Kevin Guerter came to the bench in Friday's game against the Golden State, and he's stayed there for two games since, with Bogdanovich in his starting lineup. It may be something sticking under interim coach Nate McMillin, and it hasn't helped Huerter in production so far; although he has played at least 23 minutes in all three games since the move, he has averaged only 8.3 PPG, 1.0 RPG and 3.3 APG.
Boston Celtics: Jaylen Brown (left hip) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks. Brown missed Monday's game against the Pelicans while dealing with the injury, leading to a huge 34-point game from Jason Tatum and 23 from Kemba Walker. Brown misses that too, then the Celtics can use the two and newly acquired Evan Fourier - who went 33 minutes without a goal against New Orleans - to carry the scoring load.
Brooklyn Nets: Blake Griffin has played four games with the Nets, and even against Kevin Durant, who still hasn't played Brooklyn, the results are less than impressive. 8.0 PPG, 4.0 RPG and 1.8 APG in 18.3 MPG left Griffin well behind the fantasy radar for now, and the media are trying to prevent us from doing so, but we need to know what we are doing and what we are doing. Griffin is still in 49.5% of ESPN leagues.

Charlotte Horns: With LaMelo ball out of the way, the Hornts need all the scoring help, which makes Malik Monakh's absence due to right leg pain particularly tough . The good news is that Monk will likely return to the lineup against Brooklyn on Thursday. Monk, who scored 32 points and was tied with five 3-pointers in last Friday's win over Miami, is making a career of 13.2 PPG and 2.2 3PG in this fourth NBA season.
Chicago Bulls: Kobe White (neck spasms) missed the first game of his NBA career on Monday - 116-102 against the Warriors, and the scorer missed practice on Tuesday as well. This type of injury tends to linger, and white status data is unclear for Wednesday in Phoenix and Friday in Utah. I think that the same applies to this, but I think that it is a step forward. Any absence of White results in extended minutes for Thomas Satoransky.
Cleveland Cavaliers: Larry Nance Jr. (illness) and Jarrett Allen (concussion) missed Cleveland's last game, and chi status is questionable, heading Thursday's playful Philadelphia. Both missed Wednesday's practice, which could have set the Cavaliers to use Isaiah Hartenstein and Dean Wade on Wednesday's main sart courts for Game 2 Street. Kevin Love, who missed Monday's game with a calf injury, could be another option if sleep can return against 76 players.
Dallas Mavericks: Apart from Luka Doncic, the Mavericks are missing young, athletic players this season. Let us not forget that the Berman New York Post, Mavis is one team believed to have been keeping an eye on Mitchell Robinson all summer long. The 22-year-old center has a $1.8 million team option for 2022, and the Knicks can choose to waive him and make him a restricted free agent or accept him so he can be unrestricted in the summer of 2022.
Denver Nuggets: The most important thing is that we are not giving up on our work, but on our own, and we are doing so in a way that is truly democratic, There are three main reasons for this, namely, the need to respect the rule of law and the need to respect the right to self-determination of the people. In the two games since Gordon joined the team, Porter has broken out to 21.0 PPG and 11.0 RPG, adding 3.5 3PG in the process. Good times ahead with this fun and exciting band in Denver.
Detroit Pistons: Dennis Smith Jr. will miss his fourth straight game for the Pistons with a back injury, missing Wednesday's slope against the Trail Blazers. That paves the way for Saben Lee's new start. There are 19 accidents and the number of people who have been killed has risen to over 100, in other words, there is no need for a new
Golden State Warriors: Stephen Curry's return to the roster on Monday resulted in an immediate improvement for the Warriors, who tore off their rapids streak with a victory at the Bulls. We are talking about the Curry Curry also had a big impact on the rotation, as newly red-hot Reds defenseman Jordan Poole returned to the bench to finish with seven points, one line and one assist in the 18th minute, while Nico Magnon was relegated to 7- th minute. While Magnon remains far off the fantasy radar, Poole's decline in play time is a concern. We are talking about the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, which has been breached.
Houston Rockets: The criteria for the establishment of the agency are the same as those for the protection of human rights, I think that this is a good sign that the factor, when he gets long minutes, is being used. With his new team in Houston every minute, even as Christian Wood returns from the illness that caused him to miss Oleinik Oletami's first two games. Gonzaga averaged 20.5 PPG, 6.5 RPG and 3.0 APG since trading and is still available in 68.2% of ESPN leagues.
Indiana Pacers: Carice LeVert has already played nine games with the Pacers, and if anyone thought after all he's been through, think again. LeVert's 32.1 mpg in Indiana is walking distance from 27.8 mpg in Brooklyn this season. That said, LeVert's filming and distribution hasn't quite reached the level Nets has yet (47.1 TS% vs. 51.6 TS%, 3.9 APG vs. 6.0 APG). I think that the government is responsible for the implementation of the Code of Conduct and theTC%, and we are talking about the People’s Party of China.
LA Clippers: ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski says the DeMarcus Cousins cousins may be returning to the NBA soon as the Clippers plan to sign the former All-Star center to a 10-day contract. The Cousins, who last played on Feb. 17 with the Rockets haven't been the same since getting injured in recent years, and the numbers are to have a fantasy effect as it provides depth behind Serge Ibac and Ivica Zubac. He averaged 9.6 PPG, 7.6 RPG and 1.6 3PG in 25 games with the Rockets prior to release.
Los Angeles Lakers: Andre Drummond will make his Lakers debut on Wednesday and is set to replace Mark Gasol as the team's starting center. For as long as Drummond has been playing, he hasn't played a game since February 12th. Drummond is able to put on some amazing fantasy numbers, even with Gasol and Montresla Harrell, and has a chance to do it with his new team - at least until LeBron James and Anthony Davis return to the roster.
Memphis Grizzlies: I think that the people of Eastern Europe are doing the right thing in terms of switching end of April, and they are doing the right thing, that the Grizzlies may decide to shut down a young forward who has already missed most of season. This will happen? Who knows. What it does mean is that Jonas Valanciunas, Kyle Anderson, Brandon Clarke and others have at least three or four more weeks to accumulate a bunch of stats before Jackson can be back in the lineup.
Miami Heat: It remains to be seen how well Victor Oladipo will adjust to playing with the Heat, his third team this season after stops in Indiana and Houston. Expectations are low, given the amount of scoring opportunities in Miami compared to his situation with the Rockets, where he was considered one of the leading scorers night after night. As for Miami's other acquisition, Nemanja Bjelica, the early results are not good. Bjelica, who has proven to be a versatile player when given playing time, played just five minutes in his debut against the Knicks on Monday.
Milwaukee Bucks: Last week we talked about the rumors of Austin Rivers to Milwaukee, and after Rivers was traded to Oklahoma City in the past week and then bought out by Thunder, the Bucks remain a strong landing spot candidate for the veteran scorer. Rivers has played in just 21 games this season, however, and his 21.0 MPG is his lowest since the 2014-15 season with the Clippers.
Minnesota Timberwolves: As a freshman at the University of Washington last season, Jaden McDaniels seemed far from a place in the NBA. A year later, the lanky attacker and no. 28 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft appears to be way ahead of schedule. McDaniels has played at least 33 minutes in each of his last three games, scoring 14, 14 and 13 in those contests. With his confidence on the rise, this is a young player to keep an eye on in the coming years.
New Orleans Pelicans: Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle called Zion Williamson Shaq with point guard skills this week, and while that caused quite a stir on social media it's hard not to look at the way the second-year forward has been distributing lately . Williamson, who is at 3.5 APG for this season, has dished out five or more assists in seven games this month alone. That, along with his improved free throws (70.6% this month) and 1.0 SPG, has Zion continuing to rise in fantasy rankings.
New York Knicks: How did it go for RJ Barrett during the month of March? Damn good. The sophomore shooting guard is averaging 20.0 PPG in 12 games, shooting 46.7% from the field, and adding 6.1 RPG, 3.8 APG, 0.8 SPG and 1.2 3PG. Confidence continues to rise for 2019's No. 3.
Oklahoma City Thunder: In the two games that have been played since the Thunder announced that Al Horford would be eliminated for the season – a trend that many fantasy managers wish would go away for good – it's worth taking a closer look at how the young frontcourt has performed in Horford's absence. Moses Brown (31.5 MPG, 13.5 PPG, 16.0 RPG, 1.0 SPG, 1.0 BPG over the past two games) is the one to go after, and is still a free agent in 49.0% of ESPN leagues. Isaiah Roby (30.5 MPG, 8.0 PPG, 8.0 RPG) would be next, with Mike Muscala and Tony Bradley behind those two.
Orlando Magic: Wendell Carter Jr. is available in 60.4% of ESPN leagues and Otto Porter Jr. is a free agent in 33.4% of ESPN leagues, and both new members of the Magic may be worth watching based on how they started their tenure in Orlando. Carter hasn’t played many minutes so far (19.0 MPG) in his two games with the Magic, but his 11 points, six rebounds, three assists and three blocks Tuesday against the Clippers was an encouraging sign. Porter, meanwhile, went for 13 points and added seven rebounds and four assists in that game. Both are worth keeping a close eye on.
Philadelphia 76ers: Danny Green, the subject of trade rumors leading up to last week’s deadline, ultimately stayed with the 76ers. And the veteran has been scorching hot from beyond the arc lately, averaging 5.0 3PG over the team’s last three games. Green's 2.6 3PG this season is on his way to a new career high, surpassing the 2.5 3PG he had with the championship Raptors team in 2018-19.
Phoenix Suns: With 42 games in the legs this season, we now have a good sample size to compare Devin Booker’s numbers to last season – the pre-PC3 era in Phoenix. What is striking on closer inspection is the consistency. Booker's FG% of 48.9is identical. His 3FG% is also almost the same (from 35.4 to 35.0). His scoring ability dropped only slightly (from 26.6 to 25.0), as did his rebounding (from 4.2 to 4.1). The only significant change is the one we could have predicted when you bring in one of the best point guards in NBA history – fewer assists. Booker's APG is down from 6.5 to 4.5.
Portland Trail Blazers: In the two games Jusuf Nurkic has played since his return, the bulky big man has put down 9. 0 PPG and 6.0 RPG in 19.0 MPG, while Enes Kanter – who filled in well in Nurkic’s absence – still leads the way with 12.5 PPG and 11.5 RPG in 23.5 MPG. This will change as Nurkic returns to form and is not so much an indicator of anything other than the fact that Kanter remains a force even with Nurkic back in the lineup.
2 Related
Sacramento Kings: Harrison Barnes is in a slump with long range shots. The veteran, who made 45.8% of his three-pointers in January and 38.1% in February, sits at a glacial 23.3% clip in March, with just 0.8 of his 3.3 attempts per game. If Barnes doesn't make the 3-ball, his scoring ability also suffers, making him an unimportant option in 12-team leagues.
San Antonio Spurs: Gorgui Dieng is another player worth putting in if he gets minutes, and the question is whether that will happen in his new team in San Antonio. Dieng was buried behind Jonas Valanciunas and Brandon Clarke at Memphis, but the Jakob Poeltl is the main competition for minutes at the Spurs and Dieng can score, rebound and offer efficient shooting in the right situation. He hasn't played in a game since February 28, so it could be a few weeks before he's up to speed in San Antonio.
Toronto Raptors: Kyle Lowry has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Thunder because of a foot infection — the same problem he was still able to cope with Monday in the lost game against the Pistons. With Lowry out, Fred VanVleet may face a big game – remember, he’s done this before – but Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, Gary Trent Jr. and Chris Boucher all get a bump in scoring with Lowry and his 17.0 PPG on the sidelines.
Utah Jazz: Donovan Mitchell (personal reasons) will not play in Wednesday’s game against the Grizzlies, leaving the Jazz without their leading scorer. How is Utah going to replace Mitchell and his 25.7 PPG? It won't be easy, but chances are Joe Ingles will make his 12th start of the season and Jordan Clarkson and Mike Conley will get more shot attempts than usual. Plan accordingly.
Washington Wizards: Russell Westbrook’s poor shooting percentages this season have made him a baffling option in roto leagues, but the athletic point guard’s incredible production of late makes him dominant in points leagues.
