How to watch Wisconsin basketball – Cord Cutters News

With a mixed history of disappointing seasons and impressive comebacks, the Wisconsin Badgers are a force to reckon with in the intercollegiate basketball scene. They ended the 2019-20 season with a 21-10 overall record and even landed the #1 seed in the Big Ten Tournament after an 8-game winning streak.

Despite their recent loss to Michigan, the Wisconsin Badgers are ready to bounce back for a productive 2020-21 season. So if you want to catch Wisconsin basketball live, we show you how to do that even without a cable subscription. Read on to find out how to stream Wisconsin basketball this season.

What channels show Wisconsin basketball games?

Major cable and local networks like CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, and FOX Sports 1 broadcast a majority of the Wisconsin basketball games. You can also stream select games on Big Ten Network, the dedicated channel for Big Ten Conference events.

So you just need a live TV streaming service that offers all of these channels to watch Wisconsin basketball live without cable. That’s why options like fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV make the most sense because they give you access to all of these channels in their default lineup.

How to watch the Wisconsin Badgers on Hulu + Live TV

If you enjoy streaming movies and shows on-demand, Hulu + Live TV makes the most sense for streaming Wisconsin basketball live. For $64.99/mo., the service comes with an expansive streaming library of 10,000+ titles, along with 65+ live TV channels.

Among this lineup, you get all 5 channels that broadcast Wisconsin basketball, including Big Ten Network, CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, and FOX Sports 1. So you won’t need to spend anything extra to catch all of the major and minor games live.

If this sounds good so far, you can try out the service for free for 7 days. Before that, make sure to learn more about its offering in our Hulu + Live TV review.

How to watch the Wisconsin Badgers on fuboTV

For fans of sports, fuboTV is an excellent streaming option to access the Wisconsin basketball live stream. With the $59.99/mo. Standard plan, the service gives you 100+ channels, mostly focusing on sports but also covering a diverse range of categories.

You get all 5 channels that broadcast the Wisconsin Badgers games live with this plan, including Big Ten Network, CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, and FOX Sports 1. Plus, you also get several leading sports channels, including ACC Network, beIN Sports, FOX Sports 2, TUDN, and more.

But keep in mind that you won’t get a dedicated on-demand streaming library with this service. That doesn’t mean you miss out on on-demand content altogether because the live TV channels still give you some options.

If you like what you’re hearing so far, try the service for free for 7 days and see how it goes. And don’t forget to read our fuboTV review to find out more about its plans and pricing.

How to watch the Wisconsin Badgers on YouTube TV

If you want a comprehensive live TV streaming option to replace cable, you might want to consider YouTube TV. This comes with 85+ live TV channels for the same price as Hulu + Live TV. The lineup covers a diverse range of categories, which makes up for a cable subscription.

With this, you also get all 5 channels that stream Wisconsin basketball live — Big Ten Network, CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, and FOX Sports 1. But you won’t get a dedicated streaming library, unlike Hulu + Live TV. This isn’t a complete deal-breaker since you can still access some on-demand programming from its live TV channels.

If this sounds good to you, make sure you sign up for a 7-day free trial to see what else it offers. Before that, you can also read our YouTube TV review to learn more about the offering.

How to watch the Wisconsin Badgers on Sling TV

The cheapest Wisconsin basketball streaming option is Sling TV, which has plans as low as $35/mo. But neither of the basic plans will offer all of the channels to stream the Badgers games live. You can get ESPN and ESPN2 with the Sling Orange plan, whereas FOX Sports 1 is available with the Sling Blue plan.

So to get all 3 options at the same time, you need the Sling Orange + Blue plan for $50/mo., which comes with 45+ channels. To this, you can add the Sports Extra package for $15/mo. and also access Big Ten Network. This still costs less than what many live TV streaming services charge.

But Sling TV doesn’t offer any plans that also include CBS in the lineup, so you’ll still end up missing a few games. And you don’t get a dedicated on-demand streaming library either. That means you can only access on-demand programming from the live TV channels in its lineup.

If you’re looking for a cost-effective way to stream Wisconsin basketball, Sling TV may still be your best bet. Check out the website for the latest free trials.

You can also check out our Sling TV review for more information on the service.

How to watch the Wisconsin Badgers on AT&T TV Now

With the most basic plan, AT&T TV Now gives you access to 45+ channels and will set you back by $55/mo. This option is pretty solid, but you don’t get all of the channels that broadcast the Wisconsin basketball games. It only gives you access to ESPN, ESPN2, and FOX Sports 1.

And although the plan also includes CBS, it only comes with on-demand broadcasts of the Wisconsin Badgers games. So that’s something you’d want to consider before you decide on the right plan. And to get Big Ten Network, you’ll need to upgrade to the MAX plan, which costs $80/mo.

This is far more expensive than all the other live TV streaming options. Plus, you don’t get a dedicated on-demand streaming library.

AT&T TV Now no longer offers new subscriptions. So you can no longer get a free trial for the service, though you can opt for a plan with AT&T TV.

Games of the XXIX Olympiad are in full swing. On Thursday, 17 sets of awards will be drawn. The number of decisive matches and fights in which our athletes will take part is growing every day. For some (for example, volleyball players), a victory will help to reach a more convenient opponent, but for someone boxers, wrestlers, beach volleyball players, archery it will be the last opportunity to stay in Beijing not as a spectator.

Stories

Greco-Roman wrestling. Latest sets of medals

We are waiting for success from wrestlers again. The status of Olympic champions obliges Alexei Mishin (up to 84 kg) and heavyweight Khasan Baroev to strive for the maximum result. In the first round against Mishin, Andrey Samokhin from Kazakhstan will come on the carpet, and Baroev got the bronze medalist of the last World Championship Iranian Ahmed Hashem Zadeh. To one more of our wrestlers in the category up to 96 kg, the champion of Europe and the world Aslanbek Khushtov also got to compete with the Kazakh athlete Aset Mambetov.

Archery. Another Russian-Chinese confrontation

Archer Natalia Erdenieva has good chances for a medal. On Thursday, she will start in the 1/8 finals against Chinese Zhang Juan Juan. And this rival of our athlete is quite capable: Natalia showed a better result in the qualification.

Women's archery tournament has already brought some surprises. Of the favorites, only three representatives of Korea, which won the team championship, are moving towards the semi-finals in unison. It is with the Korean athlete that Erdenieva can meet, if Zhang turns out to be more accurate.

Volleyball. Match decoration of the tournament

Teams of Brazil and Russia will play for the first place in the group. There is nothing to comment on here, we can only hope that such an opponent will help our team to get the best shape and believe in themselves. At the recent final tournament of the World League, the two best volleyball teams on the planet fought only for bronze (the match ended in our favor).

Beach volleyball. Barsuk and Kolodinsky are one step away from reaching the playoffs

Not only Vladimir Alekno's team will play volleyball with the Brazilians tomorrow. Dmitry Barsuk and Igor Kolodinsky also have an important match: with Fabio Luis/Marcio Araujo. Bet advance to the 1/8 finals. Quite unexpectedly, the first place in our group was taken by the Austrians.

Fabio/Marcio world champions in 2005 and one of the main favorites of the Olympic tournament. However, Barsuk and Kolodinsky, with the results of the last two seasons, included themselves among the contenders for medals.

Box. Balanov against the reigning world champion

The second fights will be held by boxers Gennady Kovalev (up to 64 kg), Artur Beterbiev (up to 81 kg) and Andrey Balanov (up to 69 kg). The most interesting promises to be the last duel. The reigning world champion Demetrius Andrade will enter the ring against Balanov. On the one hand, the draw could have been more favorable to our boxer, on the other hand, we can try to take advantage of the chance now by knocking out Andrade at an early stage of the tournament, and freeing the way to the medals.

Basketball. Match of truth for the men's team

An important match awaits the basketball players. The defeat from the Croats leaves nothing else but to defeat Lithuania, which at all its Olympics (and there were four of them) reached the semi-finals. The last meeting of these teams at EuroBasket 2007 ended in favor of David Blatt's wards.

Handball. Principled game against the Danes

The handball team, which will play against the European champions, the Danes, will also join the competition “who has the stronger opponent”. The enemy is fundamental. The Danes inflicted on us one of the defeats at the memorable Euro-2007, which we finished in a record low 13th place. At the Olympics, the Danes have already managed to stumble on the Egyptians.

In addition,

Gymnasts will compete in the all-around, including quarreling members of the Russian team Sergey Khorokhordin and Maxim Devyatovsky. In the quarterfinals of the team championship of saber fencers, the Russian team will cross blades with the Ukrainian team. Lyubov Galkina, Tatyana Goldobina and Svetlana Demina will compete in bullet shooting.

Autumn Horse Breeders' Cup at Horse World

Finish of the Krasnodar Territory Governor's Cup / Photo: © Krasnodar Hippodrome

The race season in Russia is gradually coming to an end. Most racecourses have already closed their doors to the public until next spring. But this does not mean at all that Russian horse racing enthusiasts have nothing more to look forward to, because already this weekend on the track of the Krasnodar Hippodrome, perhaps the most significant event of the Kuban racing season, the Autumn Horse Breeders Cup, will take place. And, as always, the Horse World TV channel will show both days live.

The program of the race weekend will be very intense: 11 races on the first day and 10 on the second. The strongest hippodrome fighters from different gender and age groups will meet on the track of the Krasnodar hippodrome to find out which of them will claim the title of the best horse at the end of the year. But first things first.

On Saturday we will have the fight of the strongest two-year-old horses in Grand Prix (I gr.). The owners of the lane Stop Startu and Glorious Hunter, who have already managed to win and second place in the First Crown Prize, will face the winner and second prize winner of the Grand Prix in Pyatigorsk - Const Holiday and Noble Barin, winner of the First Crown Prize in Rostov, who has no defeat Hero Mo , second and third winners of the Big Biennial Prize in Moscow Legend Bars and Global Orb, winner of the Summer Prize in Krasnodar Jebel Al Nur, second prize winner of the First Crown Prize in Grozny Color Moon. In total, 12 horses will take part in the race.

In Super-Okse (I group) we will have a face-to-face meeting of oxists from different hippodromes - Esoteric (TsMI), Amalgam (Pyatigorsk), Saragossa Moon (Kazan), Taikhi (Grozny), Sudarushka (Pavlovskaya), Neoclassic (Nalchik) ), as well as the winners of this race Pink Air, Bacchantes, Brief Star, Persifei Bars. The race collected full boxes - in addition to the main 12 participants, there are three more reservists, including last year's champion of the Kazan Hippodrome Orga.

On the same day, several very significant races will be drawn. AT Mailer Cup (I gr.) Metropol will try to rehabilitate for the defeat at the CMI. He will be opposed by outstanding milers Stay First, Counselor, Golden Clink, as well as Frisky Boy and Elegant Bars, who have established themselves in this division. In Prize Criterium (I gr.) the leader among sprinters according to the results of the current season, Orcrist will again meet with the last year's champion Best Fighter, as well as very strong sprinters Iberia, Oasis Prince and budding Power Best. And at Jockey Club Cup (I gr.) champion of previous years Big Bright will again meet with other crackers - Sakar, Accent, Hit Generator, Bernardino Charm.

Race marathon will continue on Sunday. In each of the ten planned races, a bright confrontation awaits us. But, however, two deserve special attention - the Prize to them. M.I. Lazareva (Super Derby) and the Prize "Autumn Marathon". Five horses will go to the start of "Autumn Marathon" (I gr.) . At the same time, only one has serious experience in performing over a long distance - Maritna Bars. This fact makes him the favorite, but it will not be easy to win this time. Among the rivals of the “badger” is the indefatigable Dillingham, who by the end of the season had gained Dijet in good shape and successfully performed at the middle distances of the Red Bars.

But in the main race of the entire two-day rally, Prize them. M.I. Lazareva (I group) All-Russian derby player Silk Story will meet three times Derby medalist Kitten Jazz, second prize-winner of the Pyatigorsk Derby and the Prize of the head of the Chechen Republic Giant Trope, the winner of the Nalchik Derby Prince Rose, the winner of the Anilin Prize in Krasnodar and with Honor Warrior, the second winner of the All-Russian Derby Legard, the winner of the Small Derby at Pavlovsk Western Point.
