March Madness continues in the 2022 NCAA Divison 1 Men’s Basketball Tournament with the Final Four. This year’s semifinal round will take place at Caesers Superdome in New Orleans, LA, and will feature the Blue Bloods of college basketball: No 2 Villanova, No. 1 Kansas, No. 8 North Carolina, and No. 2 Duke. The four programs gained their Blue Blood nickname due to their dominance in the sport. They have nearly 60 Final Four appearances combined, with 7 championship wins between them since the turn of the millennium.

The first of the two semifinal games is a matchup between the No. 2 Villanova Wildcats and the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks. The last time these two teams faced off in the Final Four, Villanova  won 95-79 in San Antonio on their way to winning their third title in program history. Overall, the Wildcats lead the Jayhawks in their head-to-head matchups 5-4 and won their most recent outing 56-55 in December of 2019. This will be the fourth time the schools have played in the tournament with the Wildcats winning 2 of the previous 3 games. The Jayhawks will be looking to change the tied in the Big Easy.

One of college basketball’s most historic rivalries will take the floor in the late game. No. 8 North Carolina Tar Heels will take on the  No. 2 Duke Blue Devils for the first time in the NCAA tournament. This will be their 258th matchup with the Tar Heels leading 142-115. This is longtime Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski’s last season and he would love nothing more than to send his rivals home after the Tar Heels defeated the Blue Devils during their last matchup at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

March Madness airs on a combination of CBS and three different Turner cable stations. You'll be able to catch every one of the 67 games if you have a Turner-heavy cable package, but streaming is a little more difficult if you cut the cord.
