Renewals/Existing Season Ticket Holders

Renewals:

Season ticket renewals for 2022-23 will begin on July 28 through My UK Account. All returning season ticket holders from the 2021-22 season will receive information by email when the renewal campaign begins. Paper invoices will be mailed in mid-August. The priority renewal deadline is Thursday, September 8.

Payment Plans:

All season ticket holders must be paid in full or enrolled in a payment plan by the priority renewal deadline of Thursday, September 8. No-interest payment plans are available when renewing through My UK Account. Payment plans allow you to split your season tickets, club membership and K Fund donation into four or five monthly installments, with the initial installment due upon sign-up (by September 8). Your credit/debit card will automatically be charged for the remaining payments on 10/7, 11/4, and 12/2. If you select the five-month plan, your fifth installment will be charged on 1/6/23. UK Athletics reserves the right to invalidate season tickets if payments are not in compliance with the established due dates.

Seat Upgrades:

Seat upgrades may be requested when renewing your seats online. All requests to move seats will be evaluated in late September, based on the K Fund priority system, and they are based on availability. Due to time constraints, the UK Ticket Office is unable to contact account holders individually during the upgrade process. The ticket office will automatically move your seats if there are seats available that meet your request. It is important to be specific with where you want to move and where you do not want to move, including the price levels you are interested in, when submitting your request. If your upgrade results in additional money due and you are on a payment plan, the additional money due will be added into your future payment plan installments. If you have paid in full, the difference will automatically be charged to your same credit card at the time your seats are upgraded. A limited number of seat upgrades from the upper level into the lower level corner/endcourt areas may be available for the 2022-23 season, as part of the upgrade process. Additionally, a limited number of lower level seats are currently available with a K Fund pledge commitment. For more information on K Fund seating availability in the lower level, please contact the K Fund Office at (859) 257-6300.

State Farm Champions Classic & CBS Sports Classic:

The 2022 State Farm Champions Classic will be held November 15 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, featuring UK vs. Michigan State and Kansas vs. Duke. The 2022 CBS Sports Classic will be held December 17 at Madison Square Garden in New York, featuring UK vs. UCLA and Ohio State vs. North Carolina.

Information about neutral site games will be available on our Special Events page. Details about requesting tickets will be communicated to season ticket holders via email.

SEC Tournament:

The 2023 SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament will take place March 8-12 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. Ticket booklets are $360 each for upper-level seating. Season ticket holders may order booklets online through My UK Account. Log-in to your account and click “Buy Tickets” at the top of the home screen. Season ticket holders who qualify for 100-level or 200-level tickets ($450-$550 each) will automatically be charged for the difference once seats are assigned in early 2023. Each school receives a limited number of tickets; therefore, there is a limit of 2 SEC Tournament ticket booklets per account. If we cannot fulfill your order, you will be notified after the deadline and refunded. All tickets will be mobile. SEC orders are due by Friday, October 14.

Mobile Ticketing

Mobile ticketing for all home athletic events will continue for the 2022-23 season, as announced in the fall of 2020. All tickets will be issued via mobile delivery, and fans will use the UK Athletics app to access and manage their tickets on a smartphone. Tickets can be viewed, scanned, sent to family & friends and posted for resale through My UK Account.

Beginning with the 2022-23 Men’s and Women’s Basketball seasons, SafeTix™ will be implemented as an additional feature on mobile tickets. To fight fraud, Ticketmaster launched SafeTix™, which uses an encrypted barcode that automatically refreshes every 15 seconds so the barcode cannot be stolen and used by another fan. Your mobile tickets will now show a unique barcode with a blue line running across it, and they will convert to a tap-and-go ticket when stored in your phone’s digital wallet. The process for accessing mobile tickets has not changed; however, with SafeTix™, screenshots or recordings of tickets will no longer work for entry. This enhancement protects against digital tickets being copied and sold multiple times by fraudulent resellers. Fans may still transfer tickets through their accounts and the UK Athletics app.

All season tickets and single-game tickets purchased directly through the UK Ticket Office will correspond with a My UK Account. To log-in, visit UKathletics.com/MyUKAccount or tap the Tickets menu and “Manage My Tickets” button within the UK Athletics app. We will provide additional resources in October to assist fans with mobile ticketing, prior to the beginning of the season. Visit the Mobile Tickets page for more information and helpful tips!

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Season ticket renewals for 2022-23 Kentucky men’s basketball are now available to all season ticket holders with early renewal incentives available through Aug. 12.

The 2022-23 home schedule will feature rivalry matchups with Kansas and Louisville, plus a Southeastern Conference slate with games against Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, LSU and Tennessee as highlights.

Season ticket holders have received emails with instructions on how to renew tickets for the upcoming season. Renewals are now available online through each season ticket holder’s My UK Athletics Account. Invoices will also be mailed in mid-August. Fans needing assistance with their online account are encouraged to contact the UK Ticket Office at (859) 257-1818 (option 4) or send an email to [email protected].

Season ticket pricing and per seat K Fund donation levels will remain unchanged from the 2021-22 season, with the exception of seating behind the baskets and in select corner areas of the 200-level. In these areas, season ticket prices have been reduced by $50-$100 each, offering a new price point for a full slate of games. Fans can visit UKathletics.com/mbbtix for updated ticket information ahead of the 2022-23 season. The renewal deadline is Sept. 8.

No-interest four-month and five-month payment plans are available again this season, allowing for more flexibility to spread out payments. Additionally, exclusive benefits are available to fans who complete the renewal process early.

Those who renew by Aug. 12 are eligible for the following prizes: five bonus K Fund priority points, two complimentary tickets to a home football game – choose from Miami (Sept. 3), Youngstown State (Sept. 17) or Northern Illinois (Sept. 24). Twenty lucky winners will receive two Big Blue Madness tickets. Five lucky winners will receive seat upgrades for the home men’s basketball game against Louisville.

Season ticket holders may also order tickets for the London Showcase in London, England (Dec. 4), and the 2023 SEC Tournament in Nashville, Tennessee (March 8-12). Tickets for the London Showcase should be purchased directly through The 02 Arena, while the priority deadline to order SEC Tournament tickets through the UK Ticket Office is Oct. 14. Season ticket holders will receive information about the 2022 Champions Classic in Indianapolis (Nov. 15) and the CBS Sports Classic in New York City (Dec. 17) as soon as it is available.

Fans interested in purchasing new season tickets for the upcoming year are encouraged to sign up now for the men’s basketball season ticket lottery. For information on lower-level seating that is currently available with a K Fund pledge commitment, please reach out to the UK Athletics K Fund staff at (859) 257-6300.

UK Athletics is excited to continue its transition to mobile ticketing for all home athletic events, as announced in the fall of 2020. Instead of receiving printed tickets, all tickets will now be issued via mobile delivery, and fans will use the UK Athletics app or My UK Athletics Account to access and manage their tickets on a smartphone. Mobile ticketing allows fans to easily text, email and add tickets directly to their smartphone’s digital wallet for safe and convenient access on game days. Going mobile reduces the risk of lost, stolen, counterfeit or forgotten tickets, provides quick and contactless entry into the venue, and gives all fans the ability to share tickets with family and friends at any time from your mobile device. Season ticket holders will receive more information once mobile ticketing is enabled in October. For helpful tips and frequently asked questions about mobile ticketing, visit UKathletics.com/MobileTickets. Season ticket holders without a smartphone may contact the UK Ticket Office to make alternate arrangements.

The Wildcats’ returning core is headlined by Oscar Tshiebwe, the reigning National Player of the Year, who led the country with 15.1 rebounds per game and also paced the Cats in scoring at 17.4 points per game. Kentucky will also welcome back Sahvir Wheeler, who led the conference and ranked third in the country with 6.9 assists per game. Forwards Daimion Collins, Jacob Toppin and Lance Ware all were instrumental in helping the Wildcats to a 26-8 season a year ago and a No. 2 national seed in the NCAA Tournament.

In all, UK is returning 44.3% of its scoring production, 58.4% of its rebounding, 50% of its steals, 51.2% of its assists and 72.3% of its blocks from a season ago.

Kentucky will also welcome in four dynamic newcomers, including top-10 signees Chris Livingston and Cason Wallace. Both players were Gatorade State Players of the Year and McDonald’s All Americans. Fast-rising prospect Adou Thiero inked with the Cats during the late signing period. UK also added one of the top transfers in Antonio Reeves, who ranked among the nation’s top 20 individual scorers a season ago at Illinois State averaging 20.1 points per game.

Kentucky will get an early start to its season with a foreign trip to The Bahamas in August for the third time under Calipari. Both previous times the Wildcats came away with positive results. UK first traveled to the island prior to the 2014-15 season which ignited a magical run that ended with an undefeated regular season, SEC regular-season and tournament titles, and a trip to the Final Four. Kentucky earned a 4-0 mark in The Bahamas in 2018, prior to going 30-7 and reaching the Elite Eight in 2019.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Need to study. In basketball, there are positions that are often played by small players. But that's not the point. We believe that every person can achieve everything he sincerely wants, if, of course, he is hardworking and patient enough. Yes, and at a young age, basketball is useful for general development to engage in all the children who are interested in it. After all, he greatly develops the child, both from the physiological side, and teaches children to work in a team and overcome difficulties.

We are ardent opponents of selection in sports. We believe that everything has its time, that each person reveals himself in different ways. Someone shows good results from the very beginning, but someone needs a little more time to adapt and understand what exactly he wants. Therefore, it makes no sense to select at an early age. Yes, and our program is designed to work on an equal footing with children of different ages, levels of training and skills.

It is possible and necessary. There are many examples of Great athletes who started their professional career quite late and at the same time became great athletes, world champions, Olympic Games. But again, that's not the point. The main thing is that each person should do what he likes. And we want to give kids a chance at this age to learn what basketball is and love it.

We cover all school age. Also in our club there are centers that specialize in working with children from 3 years old. There are cases when children at the age of 5-6 study in a group with the first - second class and feel very comfortable.

Yes, there are centers in our club where adults train. We believe that it is necessary to continue playing sports, and in particular basketball, all your life. We don't have phenomenal physical activity. A complete workout at a moderate intensity level. An interesting warm-up combined with stretching and coordination of movements. A full-fledged block for the study of technical elements and, of course, the game. We have quite a lot in the adult group of parents of children who study with us. Inspired by the success and desire of children to study, parents also light up and begin to study this exciting game with us.
