7 Steps To Make A Basketball Court
1.
Figure out a size and pick a location
The size of a regulation NBA and NCAA basketball courts are 97 feet by 50 feet. On the other hand, you will get 84 feet by 50 feet size basketball courts in most high schools. In junior high school, this is approximately 74 feet by 42 feet. Divide these numbers by 2 to get the half court measurement and see whether your vacant area can fit a half-sized or full-size court.
Few things to look at when calculating court size:
a. Spare some space beyond the boundaries so that players can’t step off the slab.
b. Don’t forget basketball hoop peer footing.
c. Account for ramps too if you need.
d. Take note of windows.
Choose a relatively flat service so that it will make it easier for you to level the surface.
2. Get The Hoops
Every handwork you put in to shape the court will all be futile if you don’t get a basketball hoop that you are happy with. If you are planning to make a full size court then purchase two hoops. For half court purchase only one hoop.
3. Take A Note of The Dimension of Court
Place four stakes by using a tape measure and mark out the backyard basketball court dimensions. Also, you can tie a rope around the stakes to make a clear understanding of the size.
4. Level Your Play Ground
Uproot everything, but dirt from the area you marked with stakes, rocks, sticks, grass all are into it. Move specks of dirt from higher areas to lower areas so everything is smooth and then you can pack it down.
5. Laid A Concrete Substructure
Use a shovel and dig a hole for the basketball pole. You must dig each pole at least 15 inches (1-2 feet) deep into the ground for stability. Make sure the top of the rim is 10 ft(3m) away from the ground. Now, finally, stable the foundation with the concrete.
You can pour the concrete 4 inches thick. Most importantly, to perform this step effectively, you should have dry weather. Because after pouring concrete, you will have to wait for at least 36 hours. Only then can you utilize the court again.
6. Think About Surfacing
When anyone is looking at setting up an NBA court, at first, they do not look to consider to surface the materials. Most often, people choose a modular suspended tile surfacing. Yeah, it is easier to say than done, but it shall ensure an enhanced performance due to less stress on joints with great looks.
If you are using your driveway, it can even hold up to cars. You can also use rubber flooring, custom floors and asphalt. Glue can also secure the flooring to the concrete subfloor.
7. Paint Lines
A stenciling kit shall make your painting process relatively easy. So keep masking tape, spray paint, and tape measure at your disposal to start the painting:
a. The out of bounds line must be in between 2-3 inches(5.08 to 7.62 cm) thick surrounding the center court.
b. The center line should be horizontally from one side to the other directly in the middle of the court.
c. The free throw line should be 12 feet long and exactly 15 feet from the hoop. Drop a plumb bob from above the hoop to measure the baseline more accurately.
d. The free throw lane should be 12 feet(3.7m) by 19 feet (top of the box is the free throw line).
e. Half circle should be at 19 feet; 9 inches for the three point line.
f. Paint other boxes too.
You can also use your favourite team’s color. Make your own “Home” team.
How to make a basketball court in a new driveway
When you choose to make a basketball court in a new driveway this will be more appropriate and professional than using an existing driveway. Now tell me why? The reason I say this because:
a. Installation of basketball goal can be done more precisely.
b. When you are looking to take advantage of the basketball system’s overhang by butting up against the driveway, keep it 5 foot overhang (almost all are 3-4 feet). 23 feet of depth will be required when you are trying to put a hoop with 4 foot extension arm. For college or high school level three point line, you shall need 30-33 feet almost.
As most shots are taken from the free throw line, you should look forward to maximizing your playing field. Also, take overhang distance measurements into account.
Pro Tips For Basketball Court Makers
a. Try to create a buffer zone around the boundaries of the court.
b. If any permissions are needed to make outside basketball court, then contact local associations and obtain those requirements.

Having a basketball hoop in your driveway can offer hours of practice, healthy fun, and quality time with your friends and family. Though basketball driveway setups might look professional and complex to install, they are actually quite simple for anyone to put together.
Your driveway size, your location, and your basketball hoop needs will all dictate what type of setup is best for you. Make sure you have the right ladder, a good hole digger, all the nuts and bolts, and the manufacturer’s instruction manual so that the process is simple from the start.
If you love basketball and want the ability to play “horse” or practice right in your driveway, you can easily create your own basketball driveway setup. This guide will give you the tips and tricks you need to make sure your hoop is installed safely, securely, and properly.
Building Your Own Basketball Hoop
Building your own basketball hoop from out of spare wood and scaffolding sounds like a fun DIY project. It can be a unique take on a typical basketball hoop and offer a lot of opportunity for personalization. While building your own basketball hoop is definitely doable, it will take much more
Effort
Money
Energy
Time
than purchasing a kit from a manufacturer. If you are someone who wants a professional grade basketball hoop in their driveway without having to build it from scratch, simply setting it up will be the only thing you need to do.
What to Expect When Setting Up Your Driveway Basketball Hoop
There are many factors that go into the safe and proper installation of your driveway basketball setup. Making sure you have the right amount of space, the right type of hoop for your family, and the right tools will be paramount to your success.
Using any included instruction manual along with our how-to guide will be the safest way to ensure that your basketball hoop goes up easily, efficiently, and remains standing for years to come.
The 3 Different Types of Driveway Hoops
After you have decided to install a driveway basketball hoop on your property, you must make the important decision of which type of hoop you are going to buy. This decision will determine
What precautions must be taken while installing
Exactly how you will need to install your hoop
Whether or not your hoop will have a pole and supports
Where in your yard or on your driveway you will be able to install
There are typically three main types of basketball driveway setups that you have the ability to choose from:
Garage mount: a hoop that is mounted on the front of your garage or side of your house, either with or without a backboard
In-ground: a large in-ground hoop with its support pole installed into the ground of your driveway, often secured with cement or concrete
Portable: a weighted hoop with a based on wheels that can be moved around
Keep Yourself and Your Family Safe
When installing any sort of sporting goods equipment, it is very important to keep yourself and those around you safe from injury by taking reasonable precautions. While putting together your basketball driveway setup, make sure that you have these important safety items with you or close by at all times:
Back Support–wearing a back support is always important when lifting heavy loads, carrying something at least half your body weight, or doing an activity that involves a lot of bending over; such as digging holes.
Ropes– if you are assembling large equipment such as
Poles
Supports
Backboards
Another Person– it is always best to ask for help when attempting large construction or assembly projects.
Instruction Manual– if your hoop comes with an instruction manual, make sure to read the directions first in order to assure proper installation for the safety of yourself and your family.
Choosing The Right Tools for the Job
Along with the proper safety attire, you will need the right tools to help you accomplish installing your hoop and to make sure that it remains strong and sturdy:
Hole Digger– while you can use a shovel, a hole digger makes faster and easier work of digging foundation holes for in-ground poles.
Concrete– when securing an in-ground basketball hoop, you will need to pour concrete around the pole into the foundation hole in order to secure the hoop to your driveway.
Measuring Tape– a measuring tape will be an important tool to measure the exact dimensions of your driveway, as well as to make sure any markings or holes are created in the correct location on your property.
Wrench– having a wrench nearby when doing any physical assembly is helpful for when you need to unscrew or loosen a tightly fitted object.
Screws and Screwdriver– always have extra screws and a screwdriver with you for tightening and attaching screws and bolts, especially when putting together
A basketball hoop
Backboard
Poles
Supports
Ladder or stepping stool– you will need to use a ladder or large stepping stool to reach your garage if mounting a hoop, and will need to reach the tall backboard of your portable or in-ground basketball hoop when attaching the net and securing the brackets.
How to Install a Simple Garage Mount
Installing a basketball hoop garage mount is one of the most space effective ways to turn your driveway into a small basketball court. With no major construction needed, you can order your hoop and mount directly and install it with little preparation.
I recommend this Silverback NXT 54″ Wall Mounted Adjustable-Height Basketball Hoop (link to Amazon) if you want a large enough backboard for a driveway. A typical 2 car driveway will need a 54″ backboard to play basketball and practice effectively.
This is a great project to do with a friend or with your children, though it does require standing on a ladder so that you reach above your garage door.
Deciding on the Size
There are a few different sizes of garage mounts when it comes to mountable basketball hoops. Deciding what type of net and backboard material you want, including the size of backboard, will help you determine how big your mount and mounting brackets should be.
The weather where you live can also help dictate what type of garage mount is right for you. If it tends to snow heavily in the winter, you will want an all-seasons net and a ring that will not rust when wet. Make sure to decide before you purchase, because garage mounts tend to come with all the pieces needed to secure itself to your garage or wall.
Determining Its Location
Choosing where you want to permanently install your garage mount basketball hoop will determine where you are able to play ball in the future. If you tend to park in your driveway, choose a different location that will not interfere with your ability to park, and will not lead to any damage if the ball hits your car.
While placing your hoop directly over your parking spot is not recommended, I don’t find it to be a big deal to go out and move my car before playing basketball.
Mounting the Hoop
After you have decided on both the size and the location for your garage mount, it is time to mount your hoop. When your hoop arrives in the mail or after you have picked it up from the store, make sure to check that all of the pieces to your mount are there. Then, carefully remove each piece and follow the specific instructions in the manual.
Typically Basketball Hoop Mount Instructions:
Check Marks: mark x’s or check marks on the wall or right above the garage exactly where you plan to connect your backboard mount.
Screw the Brackets: screw the brackets directly into those markings.
Patch Up: go back over the markings in order to paint or spackle over any holes to prevent weather damage and rust.
Attach the Backboard: attach the backboard to the mounted brackets.
Hoop and Net: attach the hoop and the net to the front of the backboard.
Test It: give the whole thing a slight tug in order to test its stability.
Enjoy: if the mount feels stable and was installed according to the manual’s instructions, you are now ready to shoot some hoops and enjoy.

Here’s video of someone installing a basketball set on their garage. Hopefully you can learn from this video how the process will go, what to do, and what to avoid.
Setting Up a Strong In-Ground Hoop
While installing an in-ground hoop can prove to be a little bit more involved than the other types of hoop installation, they provide the sturdiest option for your driveway basketball setup, with kits available for purchase online.
I suggest the Silverback 60″ In Ground Basketball Hoop (link to Amazon) for in-ground basketball hoops. If you’re serious enough about basketball to install an in-ground hoop, you want to get something good quality that will last a long time.
Measuring Your Driveway
When deciding to go with the in-ground basketball hoop option for your driveway, it is important to measure your driveway and know its exact square footage. Not all driveways are created the exact same way, so knowing if your driveway has an even number or odd number of square feet, whether it is curved or totally straight, and whether it sits on a slight hill or slant will be important for the success of your in-ground hoop.
While some people like to measure with footsteps, you will get a more accurate reading if you measure with a construction measuring tape, or even with a yardstick. Make chalk marks on your driveway as you go so as not to forget the length and width.
If you plan on marking your court, for example, the free throw line and key. Keep that in mind when measuring and laying out your court location. I recommend using a decent kit like this Easy Basketball Court Stencil Kit (link to Amazon) to map out the court under the hoop.
Here’s a video showing the process in case you’re interested.
Researching Safe Underground Points
Since in-ground basketball hoop units are built into the ground of your property, you will need to research the places on or near your driveway where it is safe for you to dig. Look out for these underground utilities:
Electrical wires
Sewage pipes
Gas Lines
Cable Lines
Other utilities often buried underground
It’s imperative that you do not strike one of these when you start digging the post hole. The best way to know that it’s safe to dig around your home is by calling your city’s utility hotline or hiring a professional.
Digging The Hole and Installing The Anchor
Once you know it is safe to dig on your property, you will need to dig a hole deep enough and wide enough to install the basketball pole. This pole will support the background and the hoop every time you score, and will need to be installed securely in-ground. Use a shovel to dig as far as the manual instructs, stopping if you hit
Wires
Pipes
Water
Typically, you’ll need to dig at least a 2 to 3 feet to secure a basketball pole in the ground. The Silverback 60″ In Ground Basketball Hoop (link to Amazon) just requires that you pour a base of concrete to mount the pole too. This is useful for if you decide to move, you can take the basketball hoop with you.
Raising the Pole
After you have dug a hole for the support pole it is time to raise the pole. Insert the pole for the in-ground basketball hoop unit and secure it either with rope or with the help of other adults. You will then need to fill the hole with soft cement or concrete, holding it in place until it has dried completely.
After the concrete has dried, it’s then safe to attach the backboard to the pole with support brackets, the rim to the backboard with screws, and connect the net. Test out the hoop by giving a little push and pull to make sure it’s solid.
When Should You Call A Professional?
Calling a professional is not always necessary when installing your own in-ground basketball driveway set up, but can be helpful if you hit a snag in the process:
You can’t figure out where to start digging, even after you have called your city utility hotline.
You have started digging your post hole and suddenly hit water, wires, or pipes.
Your concrete won’t dry within your post hole even after days of waiting.
Your basketball hoop is unstable or crooked even after the cement has dried.
You do not have assistance from other able-bodied adults.
If you’re not sure about doing any of these steps alone, I recommend looking into HomeAdvisor Handyman Services to find a local handyman that can help with any of the installation steps.
How to Set Up a Convenient Portable Hoop
If you have decided that a convenient, practical, and easily adjustable portable basketball hoop is best for your family’s driveway, you can find one with high ratings online. Not only are they move-able and easier to take with you than an in-ground hoop, but they are easily height adjustable to accommodate all players.
I recommend checking out this Lifetime 48″ Portable Basketball System (link to Amazon) if you’re considering a portable option. This is one of the most popular portable basketball hoops, and has been for years.
Double Check the Box
When ordering a portable hoop, make sure that all pieces are in the box upon its arrival. If the company you ordered from forgets to include a bolt or support beam, it could mean your hoop isn’t safe for use. If you notice that something is missing from the box, simply contact the manufacturing company and let them know.
Put Together the Base
Most bases arrive empty and are meant to be filled with water or sand, or covered with sand bags, in order to remain grounded without toppling over. Before filling your base tank, attach the wheels according to the instruction manual.
Most portable basketball hoops come with retractable wheels so that the hoop is easy to move from place to place as needed. After adding the wheels, fill your base and turn it right side up.
Connecting the Supports and Pole
Once your portable basketball hoop base is filled and standing upright, locate the connection points where you will attach it to the pole. The pole may come in two pieces or be fold-able depending on the brand you purchase, so pay close attention to the instruction manual when securing the pole in its final form.
After the pole is attached to the base, add the brackets and supports that will balance it when it endures the weight of a basketball. There are often two sets of pole supports: one set for the base and one set for the backboard.
Tying It All Together
After your pole is thoroughly and securely attached to both the base and the backboard using the:
Brackets
Screws
Nuts
Bolts
These are provided by the manufacturer. Attach the hoop rim to the backboard and connect the net to the rim. Portable basketball hoops often have different net capabilities and adjustable heights depending on the brand, so take the time beforehand to decide what’s right for you. The options are usually:
Net Options
Polypropylene fibers
Nylon
Indoor nets
Outdoor nets
All-weather
Backboard Material Options
Polycarbonate
Acrylic
Painted Glass
Plastic
Making Your Basketball Driveway Setup Last A Lifetime
Playing basketball in the driveway in your free time, having friends over to shoot some hoops, or passing your love of the game on to your children can be some of the most rewarding reasons for getting a basketball driveway setup for your home.
The proper care and maintenance of your set will assure that you get the most out of your hoop for as long as possible. Take care of your basketball driveway hoop by doing the following:
Switch out your net every 3-5 years due to wear and tear by both play and weather.
Paint over any chips or scratches that you see right away in order to avoid material and paint peeling.
Cover your hoop up with a durable tarp during snowy and inclement weather or heavy rain storms to avoid rust.
Check your hoop, ring, backboard, and support brackets once per year to make sure that screws, nuts, and bolts are still tightly secured.
The benefits of getting a basketball driveway setup definitely tend to outweigh the effort that it takes to install one. There are always fun times to be had playing basketball. Check out our 14 Fun Basketball Games article to get an idea of the different games you can play.
Critical thinking, strengthened personal relationships, improved cardiovascular health, and increased communication skills, are just some of the benefits of playing basketball outdoors and in your own driveway with friends and family, or even just by yourself.

Sports ground in the country: How to arrange a sports ground in the country
Sports ground in the country will be useful for both adults and children.
We tell you how to organize a workout in your own garden
Why do we go to the country? Relaxing in a hammock. For fragrant barbecue and vegetables from the garden. And, of course, for fresh air and activity. Even the laziest vacation in the country provides much more reason to move than city life. But, in addition to natural activity, hiking in the forest and gardening, I don’t want to part with sports in the country. Outdoor sports are a special pleasure.
If evening badminton on the lawn is not enough for you, create a real sports ground in your country house. It is not enough to make a choice in favor of sports here - you need to choose a place, shape and coverage. And to think about it now, in order to start the “construction site”, as soon as the snow melts on the site.
Caleb Johnson Studio
Let's figure it out!
B. Jane Gardens
Collective or individual Previously, each microdistrict had its own football field and a playground with simple gymnastic equipment. Children, and adults from all the surrounding courtyards, gathered here to fight for the ball or cheer for their comrades. Horizontal bars and bars were not idle in vain. They did exercises, trained, children played. Well, in between cases they beat out carpets - also why not exercise? In any case, street public playgrounds - sports and games - were a familiar attribute of urban and rural life. And I'm glad to see that trend is coming back. In many courtyards, mini-stadiums or open training complexes are now appearing. And the presence of a basketball court is almost an obligatory item for arranging the territory of new buildings. Therefore, if you think that there are not enough conditions for sports in the country, it may be worth discussing this issue with your neighbors. It is easier to equip the training ground collectively, and it is more interesting to use it. The territorial issue and administrative subtleties can be clarified in the board of your settlement.
Harry Elson Architect PC
If you still want to have your own gym, keep in mind that most sports require quite a lot of space. Even if it's not a professional field at all. As a compromise, you can choose local training equipment to place on your own site. And move football, tennis and volleyball to the collective field.
Whether you prefer a team approach or individual training, these tips will come in handy for both the large public field and your personal outdoor training space.
Design Focus International
Shape and size Depends on the activities you plan to do on the court, whether you need only gymnastic apparatus or an entire field of play (and which ones).
A sports ground may well be combined, taking into account the needs of different sports disciplines. On the same field, both a basketball hoop and a mini-football goal are perfectly placed, and on the sides there are racks for a tennis and volleyball net. Sports playgrounds for summer cottages do not necessarily have to meet the requirements for a professional field. I will give recommendations for standard sizes for various active games. But for amateur dacha tournaments, they can be further adjusted while maintaining proportions.

Basketball : court 15 m wide and 28 m long, baskets are fixed on backboards at a height of 3 m. Basket diameter 45 cm. The game is played on a half basketball field with one basket. The construction of such a basketball court in the country does not require serious work. It is convenient to mount a streetball basket on a blank wall of a house or garage if there is enough space in front of it.
SGDI - Sarah Gallop Design Inc.
Futsal : a platform with a width of 12 m and a length of 24 m, at the ends of the field there are gates.
Tennis : tennis court dimensions 8.23x23.78 m, in the center a net is stretched at a height of about 1 m.
Squash : This game is usually played on a court bounded by at least 3 walls. Its dimensions are 6.4x9.75 m. You can use the same training tennis court with a wall, providing it with mobile side barriers.
Badminton : the badminton court is smaller than the tennis one - 5.18 x 13.4 m. And the height of the net is larger - 1.5 m.
Volleyball 5 m. Beach volleyball field is slightly smaller - 8x16 m, covered with a layer of sand at least 40 cm deep.
Southview Design
Gorodki : 2 x 15 m or 2 x 8.5 m. A similar field, but even smaller, is useful for playing horseshoes or balls.
Table tennis : ping-pong table dimensions - 1.52x2.74 m, net height - 15 cm. 2 m on each side. A ping-pong table can also be placed outdoors, especially if it is made of modern composite materials. But it is better to provide for it a canopy, stationary or folding. It will make it possible to play in wet weather and in bright sunshine.
PITCH Concepts
Such games as golf, cricket, rounders and others, according to sports rules, have fields of sufficient size. But they may well be adapted to the size of the site. As you can see in the photo, a place for a miniature sports field was found even within the recreation area on the roof.

Swimming pool : if it is intended for training, and not just for swimming, then its length is usually laid from 25 m. The width of the path in the swimming pool, and therefore the minimum width of the pool, is about 2.5 m.

In addition to the field for sports games, they will be used at the appetizer, at the summer projectiles and equipment for physical activity. Horizontal bars, wall bars, bars, boxing bag - all this will not take up much space. A mini-climbing wall will perfectly fit on a high blank wall. Also now there are excellent simple training complexes for the street. Interesting obstacle courses can also be made from improvised materials - logs, boards and old tires.

Trampoline is an excellent sports equipment. And it only seems like children's entertainment - it gives a significant physical load. And the kids will definitely be happy with it. You can use mobile structures or a stationary model buried in the ground, as in the photo (it provides more security). In any case, be very careful about the coating.

Where to find a place for a sports field in the country Of course, the location of the court, as well as its size, depends to a large extent on the sport. Building a full-fledged football field or basketball court will require a lot of space. Therefore, the shape of the site and the existing layout will be of decisive importance. But there are a few general points to consider when choosing a place.
Doubles and team courts, which are usually rectangular in shape, should be placed with the long side in an east-west line. So the sun will not blind the players. For the same reason, shells and platforms for individual exercises should not be oriented to the south.

It's good if the site is shaded during the hottest hours. At the same time, a sharp motley shadow is not very suitable for sports activities. Active, and especially moving spots of light and shadows are disorienting. You can place a sports area on the north side of a tall building - its shadow will cover the site from the southern sun.
PanZAH
For small areas, a folding or permanent canopy can be provided. It will not only shade, but also protect from rain. In order not to create a dull shadow, use a matte polycarbonate cover. In addition, glazed verandas, outbuildings and winter gardens will be a good place for sports activities, where you can place exercise equipment or put a table for ping-pong or billiards. They provide protection from cold and rain, but retain a visual connection with nature.

When building a court, keep in mind that the ball may fly out of it. Make sure that there are no windows, greenhouses and other fragile structures in the direction of its flight. However, flower beds, bushes and beds can also suffer. Therefore, it is better to protect the field with a high net, at least from two sides. If the sports ground is located next to the fence, it is also worth installing a grid there. Neighbors are unlikely to be happy with the ball that has arrived. Fence off the field, even if you only intend to play badminton. Shuttlecocks do not cause such strong damage, but they are perfectly stuck in branches and on roofs.

A unidirectional ball court, such as a streetball hoop, is best placed near the blank walls of tall buildings. Areas near garages and even the entrance area are a traditional place for their placement. You can also play squash and practice tennis here.

Think about the audience. It's good if the field is visible from the terrace or balcony - they will be excellent stands. Or provide an area with chairs and benches next to it. It is good to have a playground for quieter games or game equipment next to the joint recreation area. It will perfectly accommodate a mini-golf course, height chess or a table tennis table.
Please note that sports are often noisy activities. It is desirable that the windows of the bedrooms and areas for a relaxing holiday are located on the other side of the house.
LDa Architecture & Interiors
What flooring to choose for the sports ground After you have decided on the purpose, placement and dimensions, you need to choose the flooring material. Each sport discipline has its own specific needs. They are due to both the type of activity and traditions. Some sports require a special surface. But, in general, there are a few general characteristics that apply to any outdoor playground. This is safety, high wear resistance and resistance to atmospheric factors.
Marin's Distribution
The safety of the coating is provided by its anti-slip properties and elasticity. For some sports, the rigidity of the surface has its advantages. But the elastic surface protects the joints and prevents injuries when falling. Therefore, modern professional coatings strive to maintain a balance of these characteristics. Ecological properties are also important. Weather resistance means resistance to precipitation, temperature extremes, as well as to sunlight.
Of course, in childhood we enjoyed running around the slippery trampled earthen fields and peeling off our knees with the ubiquitous granite chips. But when designing a sports ground on your own site, you should pay attention to modern materials that will create more favorable conditions for training.

Crumb rubber flooring
Recycled rubber flooring is perhaps the favorite material for creating multifunctional playgrounds - sports and playgrounds. They are very widely used in urban landscaping for children's playgrounds, stadiums and sports areas at schools, yard training complexes. Nothing surprising. Rubber coatings meet all of the above requirements. They are safe due to shock-absorbing and anti-slip properties. They are highly resistant to both abrasion and dynamic loads, as well as to atmospheric factors. In addition, this coating is available in various colors. This means that the marking and zoning of the same basketball court can be done by the material itself. And, importantly, crumb rubber surfaces are easy to repair. And in winter, rubber coatings allow you to fill the ice rink from above.
Revival Arts | Architectural Photography
This type of coating consists of crumb rubber itself, a polyurethane binder and a dye. The crumb is a product of processing of old automobile tires and waste of their production. That is, the material is also environmentally friendly. It is suitable for seamless application, but is also available in the form of tiles and rolls. On the street, a seamless or tiled rubber coating is usually used.
Rubber crumb coating can be used alone, but to ensure greater wear resistance and expand the color palette, it is supplemented with a layer of EPDM crumb (synthetic rubber granules). These granules are colored in mass, which means they are even more resistant to abrasion. In this case, they usually talk about EPDM coating, but you need to understand that it is laid as a finishing layer 7-10 mm thick on a rubber crumb substrate 10-15 mm thick.
Seamless rubber coatings applied directly on site. The viscous mass is distributed over the base, and then solidifies. For sports, and especially for playgrounds, the general application layer is usually recommended to be 20-25 mm thick. The base for the screed must be firm and well prepared. The advantage of seamless application is the ability to create patterns and markup from it.

Rubber tiles are manufactured industrially. A mass of crumb rubber and binders is molded and pressed under high pressure. Often such tiles are made immediately multi-layered - with an elastic substrate and a more stable top layer. Tiled rubber coating is less demanding on the base and can be laid on a sand cushion or soil.
Plastic modular covers
Manufactured from environmentally friendly polymer materials. And, as the name implies, they are assembled as a constructor. Soil and a compacted sand cushion are suitable as a base. But the modularity of the coating places high demands on the quality of alignment and compaction. The lattice structure ensures water flow. This coating is also convenient for self-laying. Compared to rubber compounds, it is more rigid.
Liquid coatings
Easy to apply, but demanding on the base and rather expensive formulations. They are used in the creation of professional grounds for team sports: tennis, basketball, volleyball. Mixtures for liquid sports grounds are produced on the basis of acrylic resins or polyurethane. The hardness of the coating differs depending on its chemical composition, the number and characteristics of its layers.

Artificial grass
This surface is used for football fields, tennis courts, golf courses. It is also suitable for a combined playground - sports and play, you just need to choose the right pile length. The main advantage over natural grass is wear resistance. A living lawn needs care and attention. Even a sports turf mixture will not be happy with constant active loads on it. Artificial turf is completely unpretentious. And in a modern version - and it looks quite good.
Semi-infill and infill artificial grass is used in professional sports. The pile, fixed in the substrate, is covered in the first case with sand, and in the second - with sand with rubber granules. This creates elasticity comparable to natural soil, which can also be adjusted by choosing the thickness of the backfill.
The type of fibers also differs. Monofilament grass has unsplit whole fibers. Fibrillated - consists of wide polyethylene fibers with cuts. It is less wear-resistant and tough, but cheaper.

Decide on the base The base on which the flooring is laid depends on its type. In general terms, the preparation of the base for a sports ground is similar to the technology for arranging tracks. It bears the same load. But, in view of the larger area, it is worth taking the preparation with special responsibility. The base must be level, sloping and draining for water to drain. Also, keep in mind that some sports equipment may require a foundation or penetration into the base. Special recommendations for the selected type of coating and equipment can be obtained from the company where you will purchase it.

Mark out Typically, dacha sports playgrounds require marking. Its nature depends on the purpose of use. On multifunctional sites, as a rule, the markings are applied in different colors for different games. If you do not have a seamless rubber flooring and the lines were not made when laying, they must be applied from above. For this, use permanent paints suitable for road markings. Reflective compositions will also look good here. Then even in the evening with artificial lighting, the game will be interesting and beautiful.

Stages of construction on the example of a football stadium
The thickness of the foundation pit and the amount of materials that are needed for your foundation, we select depending on the size of the field. We select drainage and other systems based on the regional location (how much precipitation is in your region, what kind of drainage is needed). Additionally, we equip drainage wells, or divert them to the drainage system. Field slopes of several different types depending on site operating conditions.
Preparation of excavation, sand bed, drainage system
The quality of a football field is more than half dependent on the quality of the base! Our base is a monolithic solid single layer, which over the years does not form any fractures, the soil does not go anywhere and remains flat throughout the entire period of operation. Relatively speaking, even if a tractor passes over the base, there will be no tire marks, because everything is solid and dense!
Sequential compaction of base layers
We carry out all types of additional improvement works: we can install a fence for you, pave an asphalt path to something, level the territory, paint walls, borders, etc. We will perform all the required related work!
Installation of the curbstone
The laying of artificial grass itself is as important as the preparation of the base. When laying the field, an important aspect is gluing the rolls and cutting the markings. Gluing must be done securely. The material in the work requires getting used to, because the two-component glue rolls down after a while and they need to work quickly.
Laying the grass on the prepared base, gluing it and cutting the markings
Be sure to remember: the gate is installed with the requirement for safety so that it does not turn over. Therefore, this aspect is given special importance. In this regard, the gate is either concreted or attached to an accompanying fence.
Installation of the goal
The backfill of a football field determines a large part of the performance of the game. Backfilling is a responsible job, because the presence or absence of drops and bumps, which will eventually be felt during the game, depends on the uniform distribution of sand and crumb rubber on sports grounds. That is, there should be both a flat base and a high-quality pile with an even distribution of backfill under it.
Raising grass, distributing sand and crumb rubber across the field
We cooperate with the largest manufacturers of stands, fences and other sports equipment in the Russian Federation. Therefore, if necessary, we can supply everything you need to the object at a wholesale price. We install all this equipment, advise in which cases which is better, etc. We can supply many things both in a finished version and make them ourselves on the spot.
Installation of additional equipment (treadmills, jumping pits, safety fences, grandstands)
You can also be sure that we will carry out all the necessary arrangements for their improvement on the site and the adjacent territory.

We supply basketball surfaces from world manufacturers
The dynamics of basketball matches means high speed, sudden movements and heavy loads on the joints. It is very important that the flooring of the basketball court is both wear-resistant and injury-proof at the same time. For basketball courts we offer: tennis, hard or soft-hard, modular plastic, polyurethane coating and crumb rubber coating.
Our company only works with proven materials that have passed the strictest quality control, therefore we offer a wide selection of outdoor basketball surfaces from domestic and foreign manufacturers, such as: ERFOLG , BERGO , PLASTFACTO , Conica , Novol , Aropa , CRUMB , GUMBIT , MASTER FIBER and many more.
In addition to the construction of basketball courts, we take care of the complete set of the object and provide it with all the necessary equipment until it is ready for operation. In accordance with the requirements of the customer, any sports equipment can be installed: backboards, rings, stands of a certain capacity, running tracks, a sector for standing long jumps and, of course, various types of fences.
We offer metal railings or safety nets for the customer's choice
Metal 2D and 3D railings are sectional structures of increased strength with rod diameters from 4 to 6 mm, protected by a polymer and zinc coating. Unlike other fences, the fence made of mesh panels does not require maintenance - it does not get dusty, does not fade in the sun and does not deform under wind loads, and also does not need periodic painting
Protective mesh made of kapron or nylon threads can have different mesh sizes: 100x100, 40x40 or 20x20. Such a fence is ideal for zoning the playing space and protecting spectators from sports equipment. The mesh does not need maintenance and is easily restored
While building new basketball courts, we also work on existing facilities that need major repairs or minor restoration. We are happy to undertake the design of a sports facility, without including construction work, and for the implementation of the facility according to an already finished project.
