How to play basketball like aomine

If you think about it, Aomine would be the GOM character with LESS chances of entering in the NBA : KurokosBasketball

Note: Don't take this post as saying Aomine would be crush in NBA, after all, we don't know how the NBA works in KNB, i just expect them to be GOM level.

The biggest problem Kuroko No Basket characters have most of the times is the Height, most of the PF or C characters have a Height of 1,95 or 1,92m (Of course they are still young, but you can't expect everyone is gonna have a Murasakibara Height when they are adults)

Aomine is not a exception, in Japan his Height is fine, but he is a PF who has a Height of 1,92m right now, and being generous, he would have a height of 2 meters but that height is "low" in NBA.

But leaving beside that, Aomine has two biggest problems, his Formless Shot and the garbage selection of shots he has.

Aomine is definetly a guy who will score alot of times, and he is really good offensively, his dribble is really good and is fast, however, most of the things he does in the anime, are just not gonna happen.

Imagine if in the NBA, the guys who plays there, are like GOM level, like, every single one (after all, they are fucking players of NBA), Aomine plays, and when he is marked, decides to do this.

Not only the coach would instantly send his ass to the bench because he did that ridiculous play, but also that would be easily stopped, Aomine is a genius, top 2 of the GOM, but the guy isn't playing with KAgami or Kuroko, two players who are weak in defense (In fact, that's one of the reasons why Aomine is so OP when he plays, he is being marked by players who have low defense ability, try to face him with a Akashi or Murasakibara and the story would be different) he is playing with C or PF who would catch that shot or atleast touch it, that combined with his low height, means the trick of the Formless shot becomes almost useless, and considering he does that when he is being marked by 2 or more players, is a stupid decision which can cost you the position.

And you would say "But if he is top 2 in GOM, how he is the one wich less chances of being in the NBA?" The answer is very simple

Akashi we all know how OP he is, so that's that.

Midorima is solid in Defense, solid with the ball, and of course, he is like the best 3 point shooter in all existences, that's just screaming NBA Level, who wouldn't want a guy who can score 3 point shots everywhere?

Murasakibara is already the highest character, in a adult form, he would basically be a normal NBA Player, and his defense is amazing already.

And Kise, even tho most people call it the weakest one, he is a playmaker, who can do everything, defend well, shoot well, and he is the one who trust his partners the most, being able to copy any technique means he is already a solid bench player, if he trains his perfect copy, he could become a main player, and even without his Perfect Copy, he is solid enough for NBA.

All this players have something who excels on them, Aomine is a dribble with high speed, but he is facing against PF who will be higher than him, and the guy is dumb enough to shot when he is being marked by taller players, and his formless shots in a realistic level, would only work one time, and only because nobody would expect it, but there's no way in hell, his formless shot is "unstoppable", because is not.

Also, he is weak in Defense, just like Kagami... So yeah.

It’s time for another Kuroko’s Basketball character!

We started with Tetsuya and now it’s time to bring in one of the most skilled and most popular characters in the anime.

I had originally expected you guys to request Seijuro Akashi first, but The SHJ Army made it clear you want Daiki next.

Our Kuroko’s Basketball characters aren’t requested nearly as much as some of the bigger anime in our Anime Workouts Database, but I’ll definitely make sure we get them sporadically for you guys.

Daiki will make another fun addition to our Anime Workout Placement Quizzes as well.

Daiki Aomine Stats:

Real Name: Daiki Aomine

Height: 6’4

Weight: 191 lbs.

Anime: Kuroko’s Basketball

Powers: No

We see Daiki go from 5’9 up to 6’4, which makes him extremely tall compared to most anime characters we have.

That puts him as tall as Dwayne Johnson, but about forty pounds lighter.

Wolverine was the shortest spot among comic characters we’ve seen at 5’3, prior to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming in at 5’2, (and Gimli even shorter) – but Damian Wayne (Robin) is only 5’4.  Goku isn’t that tall either, though, standing only 5’7, with Miles Morales only an inch above him.

One Punch Man falls in at 5’9 right there with Ryu, Nightwing at 5’10, and then Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Green Arrow coming in around 5’11 and Beast joining them.

We’ve had Superman and Eddie Brock’s Venom at 6’3, and Captain America, Scorpion and Batman at 6’2, and Carnage at 6’1. Thor and Cyborg are towering over them at 6’6, Thanos and King right there with them at 6’7, Bane at 6’8, and Deathstroke right below at 6’5, and Black Manta at 6’4.

Ronan and Sagat are 7’5, and Doomsday came in at 8’10, and I doubt any characters are touching that anytime soon.

But, don’t worry if you’re not the same height or weight range.

We write these routines to be utilized by anyone and everyone.

Daiki Aomine Diet and Nutrition

**Keep in mind: this section will be nearly identical for each hero.**

Every hero needs to still have a good diet.

Unfortunately we can train like them, but I don’t think any of us are suddenly getting their powers, or the ability to magically stop caring about nutrition.

You can’t out train your diet, so I want to still give some pillars for nutrition.

You can start by checking out The Nutrition Pillars on the site, but I’ll break down some more information for you guys as well.

Guys like Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart incorporate 80/20 dieting with big weekly cheat meals, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hopper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Terry Crews utilize intermittent fasting (something I use daily as well), Ariana Grande, Mustafa Shakir and Madelaine Petsch are vegans, Brandon Routh and Frank Grillo opt for paleo, and tons of others utilize their own variations as well.

It’s all about sustainability.

AND, there are a thousand different ways to reach your goals, so finding the most sustainable way is what’s important.

Which is why our Academy utilizes multiple different Nutrition Classes (Greek Gods, Vikings, Spartans, Hunter Gatherers, Monks, Samurais, Minimalists, SuperHumans) to allow people to choose what is right for YOU!

Curious where over a hundred celebs fall in their dietary choices ranging from High Protein and Keto to Vegetarian, Vegan and Intermittent Fasting? Want exclusive celeb meal plans? Check this out.

Daiki Aomine Workout Routine Research

We’ve made it to “the fun part”.

And, if you don’t know by now, I say that every single time we get to the workout routine research section for character workouts.

To learn more about Daiki I’m going to be pulling from his Wiki Fandom, which starts with this:

Daiki Aomine was the ace player of the renowned Generation of Miracles and was the former partner/light of Kuroko in Teikō. He currently plays as the ace and power forward of Tōō Academy. He and Kagami are sworn rivals after their clashes in the Interhigh preliminaries and in the Winter Cup. He was the main antagonist until the first round of the Winter Cup.

And when we move down into his Skills and Abilities we learn a lot more about just how skilled Daiki is.

Here’s how they lead us off about his overall skill level:

As the ace of the Generation of Miracles, he was regarded as “a monster” in basketball, as he was leagues ahead of anyone that came second to him, even among the talents of the Generation of Miracles. His abilities can be described as extremely fast, extremely strong and extremely skillful. It is shown that Aomine can essentially score the basketball from any position on the court. He is very fast, agile, and powerful which enables him to get past even the strongest of defensive minded players. He accomplishes this by performing insane crossovers, changing his speed and direction of movement at an absurd rate, leaving his opponent behind. Overall, these well rounded and polished skills make him an amazing player who is often described as “a monster”. Aomine is so skilled he along with Kagami is called the double ace of Team Vorpal Sword (a team made up of the Generation of Miracles).

Before they even get into his speed and agility section they continue by saying:

As explained by Midorima, Aomine learned to play basketball on the streets without lessons, so while not possessing the basic movements of basketball play, it is said that Aomine never has a non-changing movement, be it passing, dribbling or shooting. His play is described as limitless.[53] It’s extremely difficult to guard him as only a hand-full of players could keep up with him. Kuroko and Kise are shown to capability of stopping Aomine predicting his movements based off their past experiences as teammates.

Aomine is described as a solo player, only playing one-on-one against his opponents and not passing the ball to his teammates even when he is cornered. His skill is reflected in the fact that he has beaten Kise in a one-on-one before, though this was before Kise acquired the Perfect Copy. At one point it even took a triple team of Kagami, Kiyoshi, and Kuroko to stop Aomine.

His other ability, is the control of his animal instinct, with his instincts compared to that of a panther. This enables him to play purely on feeling and greatly enhance his five senses, making his reflexes and speed top notch. Since Aomine stopped playing seriously his instincts became dull. However it came back slowly during his battle with Kagami.

We’re not going to be able to train around an animal instinct, but we’re definitely going to be training around his speed and strength.

They continue on about his speed and agility by sharing:

Aomine is not just extremely fast but his acceleration and deceleration is extremely fast too. As seen in the match against Seirin High, he broke free from Kagami with his speed than stopped in front of the defense and shot with a fadeaway in an instant. Aomine can also sprint back to defense and perform chase-down block.

As stated by Midorima, Aomine transcends even the rest of the Generation of Miracles when it comes to speed and agility. Aomine is so fast he has gotten passed all of Seirin’s starters, taking the ball coast to coast with his speed.

So for this one we’re going to be specifically training around endurance and calisthenics to focus on:

  • Daiki’s Lean and Toned Physique
  • Daiki’s Strength and Speed

We’ll be adding some intensity to work around the basketball, so expect some supersets, and circuits as well.

Kuroko's Basketball.

Girls from Russia. - Chapter 2.

Japan. Tokyo. May 18 18:03.

- Are you suggesting we play against these girls? Aomine Daiki protested furiously and slammed the table.

- Don't yell like that! Akashi said, "I'm more interested in why they look so much like us?" It was as if he saw his own sister ... And why do they have the same surnames?

- I had the same questions. Midorima said and adjusted his glasses.

- Well noticed. Momoi and Riko said in unison as they entered the office.

- We found records of their games, but could not find the exact information. - Satsuki sighed disappointedly, - And the rest you can see in the records.

- We also learned that Gabriela and Sofia didn't play even against guys. And today they took the Cup of National Games, please note, also against the guys. And those two girls didn't come out either, and Kuroko Ayumi didn't come out with them either. - Riko said, - Despite the fact that Vysotskaya is the captain of the team, and Akashi is the vice-captain.

Seijuro grinned as his dark aura filled the entire office. He was outwardly calm, but the space around him seemed to thicken and it became difficult to breathe.

- So she's the captain of the team... But why not Gabriela? Akashi was perplexed and there was so much indignation in his voice.

- Because Sophia is stronger and can easily outrun, for example, Kagami and Aomine. - Ayda answered and took out a disk from her bag, - There is a recording of the game in which Vysotskaya and Gabriela participate together, but this is a recording of three years ago. Therefore, it is not known how they managed to improve their skills.

All the guys tensed up looking at the disk. If some girl three years ago could get around such fools as Kagami and Aomine, then what now?

- Gi-hee... - Momoi laughed, - Maybe it's not so bad. Sofia Vysotskaya was in the hospital two years ago because she had an accident and had been playing for only a year.

- Well, you are a monster! - the guys said in one voice, and the girl's jaw dropped.

- Laughing at the grief of others is very bad, Satsuki-san. Tetsuya said.

- How long have you been here?! the guys shouted.

Akashi just chuckled and walked over to the match notes.

- What will we watch first? Sonya and Gabriela's game or their teams? the emperor asked.

- Shall we study the strongest first? Aomine suggested.

- Good idea. Let's start with their game disc then. Riko nodded her head and took the record and inserted it into the DVD player.

... After watching the tape, all the guys were sitting neither alive nor dead. And in the eyes, not that despair, not that determination, not that some kind of excitement.

- How is it necessary to bend so that it happens? Kagami spoke with his jaw dropped.

- How does she even dribble like that? Even in slow motion it is not clear. muttered the "dead" Daiki.

- And how was she able to score balls like that? Midorima asked, but no less than the others, surprised.

Everyone looked at each other and exhaled, and then looked at Seijuro.

- Gabriela is just something you want to crush! - Zhuya said Murasakibara, - So easily brings his opponents to their knees, and paired with Sophia becomes even stronger. They are not perceptible

- What are you getting at? the emperor asked, frowning.

- Together they will make you! Taiga finished for Atsushi holding back his laughter.

- Stop it! What about small children? Let's see the record where they took the national cup against the guys! Momoi declared and turned on the recording.

... After 40 minutes ...

"Cuties." - the first thought of all the guys. "We'll have to sweat." - this is the second thought after the end of viewing.

- That's how it is... Their game is exactly like ours, only there is one difference: they have too much flexibility. Kagami noticed.

- Did you notice?! They looked at him in shock.

- Are you not? Taiga asked without understanding.

- Noticed, but didn't think... - Daiki began inviting laughter.

- Do you take me for an idiot?! - furiously growled Kagami, understanding why such strange questions.

- Stopped! What will you do? Riko asked, sitting on the edge of her desk.

And there was silence. It was audible how, having begun, the rain beat against the window of the office. All the guys stood about something thinking.

- I think we need to think over tactics, but will it help against Sophia? - Kise thought, - Her tactics of seeing the game is not constant and the way she plays. .. Can we?

- All together you can! Satsuki stated, "Since three years ago she could beat Aomine and Kagami, then she will be guarded by three and then she will have to pass the ball, guard her with the game tactics that Riko did."

Everyone immediately shifted their gaze to their trainer, Aida, and looked at her expectantly. And within an hour they were all gone.

- It looks like the training will be interesting... - Ayda chuckled.

"But we will win!" - at that moment it sounded in the head of all the heroes.

The rest of the Teiko team was equal to Akashi Seijuro in their abilities.

If Akashi Seijuro was the technical support of the team, then Captain Nijimura Shuzo was the mental support of the group who could rule the team of small monsters.

If Inoue Tomoya from Kamizaki High School could barely hold back first year Aomine Daiki, then first year Aomine Daiki could barely hold back Nijimura Shuzo.

[A/N: Inoue Tomoya was Aomine Daiki's former rival, he was able to match Aomine Daiki's freshman when he was in his second year, but when they met the following year, he couldn't do anything against Aomine Daiki and decided refuse to defend against him. This caused Aomine to break down completely and stop improving.]

Nijimura Shuzo was without a doubt the best power forward in the league. As a power forward, Nijimura has a very fast and powerful dribbling ability. Having reached the opponent's zone, he was perfectly oriented in the arrangement on the court, and seeing the player in a more advantageous position, he could pass him. His dribbling is really solid and he's competent enough to easily maneuver through anyone.

Nijimura is a calm and collected person, but a strict high school student who is not afraid to speak his mind, he beat Haizaki Shogo without hesitation when he suspected that Haizaki was skipping matches.

He was currently the greatest player in the Teiko team and had a strong influence over the team as its captain.

Shun: "Aone-san can't handle him, only Otsubo-san can stop him in the paint."

Next was Midorima Shintaro, a hard-working guy who did his best and left the rest to fend for himself. When it came to his shots, Midorima currently didn't develop his high arc shooting style, he could only shoot from the three-point line, but that didn't mean he didn't have his perfect accuracy, Midorima Shintaro didn't miss.

As the second tallest member of the Wonder Team and the third tallest member of the current Teiko team, he was good at blocking and dexterous enough to leave his personal protector at any moment.

Midorima was different from the others. He never stopped practicing and still appreciated its importance. When the Generation of Miracles later bet on scoring the most points in the game, he didn't participate because all he wanted to do was fulfill his role. He accepted the situation as long as they were winning, although it irritated him. Another fact that shows that he is different from other generations of miracles is that until now he was the only one who had the courage to stand up to Akash.

Shun: "If we're to stop Midorima, we'll need to put a tight personal protector on him, otherwise he'll slip away and deal damage."

The next two were the ones Shun was most worried about. One of them had an immense natural talent for basketball, and the other was not at all limited to traditional or any other kind of basketball.

Murasakibara Atsushi was the tallest player on the team and he was the tallest first year junior high school player, he was 186cm and Shun was pretty sure Otsubo would have to do his best to keep up with Murasakibara.

Because Murasakibara's arms and legs were especially long, this allowed him to take giant steps to easily catch up and block shots. He can also tower over all of the team's centers and catch rebounds with ease. Murasakibara is not only capable of blocking and catching rebounds, but he can also contribute to offensive play.

The current Murasakibara was not arrogant; even being rather lazy, he did enough on the court not to upset anyone. This meant that the current Murasakibara contributed both offensively and defensively.

He was currently the only member of the team who could dunk.

[A/N: I made it so that only Otsubo from Tokiwadai and Murasakibara from Teiko could dunk. Kiyoshi Teppei and Nebuya Eikichi can also dunk this year. Shun can't, he's too short for that, but next year he'll be able to do it.]

Currently, Murasakibara was Shun's worst opponent, Murasakibara was much taller and stronger than Shun, and in the game, this height and strength could deal serious damage.

Next up was the Prince of the Street, Aomine Daiki, a man with an ever-changing flexible playing style.

Aomine started playing street basketball even before he received any training. He often played with Momoi, his virgin girlfriend. Growing up, he began to play against street players. This is how his ever-changing style of streetball developed.

Aomine learned to play basketball on the street without instruction, so without mastering the basic moves of the basketball game, Aomine doesn't have a consistent pattern of play, be it dribbling, dribbling, or shooting. His game can be described as limitless. Guarding him is extremely difficult, since only a bunch of players can keep up with him.

He is very fast, agile and strong, which allows him to outperform even the strongest defense players.

Currently, Aomine's game was limited, and this limitation was his body, even if he had the potential to have an unpredictable playstyle, he could not demonstrate this unpredictability.

Another no less dangerous ability of Aomine is the presence of a kind of "animal instinct". This skill allows him to play based solely on his feelings. At the same time, Aomine significantly sharpens the action of all his five senses, increasing the reaction and reflexes to the maximum level.

Shun: "I'm not worried about Aomine, no matter how unpredictable his game is, I'll be able to react to it. Hooray for the divine momentum. Though his speed might be a bit of an inconvenience."

And finally, Kuroko Tetsuya, the ghostly sixth player. Mutant Teiko.

Although Kuroko is rather weak, his talents allow him to play a central role in any team. Possessing excellent powers of observation, he perfectly knows how to be invisible to the sight of other people. Kuroko can perform stealthy and agile passes, unimaginable interceptions, and quick redirects of the ball to his teammates. Sometimes, due to his invisibility, he can get injured by a more imposing player. In addition, his skills cannot act equally effectively throughout the entire game period. Opponents get used to his "invisibility" and redirect tactics, so often Kuroko is put on the bench, bringing him into the game at the most decisive and significant moments.

Kuroko is naturally hard to see, so he developed a game technique using this "invisibility". He just acts as if the ball is going to another player and not him. Plus, he tries to show as little emotion as possible in order to reduce his already weak presence. He pushes opponents to focus their attention on someone else, and then unexpectedly intervenes. When the opponent does not see him, it is much easier to steal the ball.

Using his stealth, Kuroko uses himself as a pass relay and redirects the ball to another player by simply gently touching him. He receives the ball from another player and immediately redirects it to a free player. This pass is very difficult to predict and almost always results in a basket.

And finally Haizaki Shogo.

Haizaki's play style and skills are very similar to Kise's. Like Kise, he copies the movements and actions of other players, but instead of improving the copied movements, he modifies them, barely perceptibly breaking the overall rhythm and speed. Thus, he subconsciously knocks down the opponent, preventing him from using his own technique in the future, since the changes made by Haizaki are superimposed on him.
