Renewals/Existing Season Ticket Holders
Renewals:
Season ticket renewals for 2022-23 will begin on July 28 through My UK Account. All returning season ticket holders from the 2021-22 season will receive information by email when the renewal campaign begins. Paper invoices will be mailed in mid-August. The priority renewal deadline is Thursday, September 8.
Payment Plans:
All season ticket holders must be paid in full or enrolled in a payment plan by the priority renewal deadline of Thursday, September 8. No-interest payment plans are available when renewing through My UK Account. Payment plans allow you to split your season tickets, club membership and K Fund donation into four or five monthly installments, with the initial installment due upon sign-up (by September 8). Your credit/debit card will automatically be charged for the remaining payments on 10/7, 11/4, and 12/2. If you select the five-month plan, your fifth installment will be charged on 1/6/23. UK Athletics reserves the right to invalidate season tickets if payments are not in compliance with the established due dates.
Seat Upgrades:
Seat upgrades may be requested when renewing your seats online. All requests to move seats will be evaluated in late September, based on the K Fund priority system, and they are based on availability. Due to time constraints, the UK Ticket Office is unable to contact account holders individually during the upgrade process. The ticket office will automatically move your seats if there are seats available that meet your request. It is important to be specific with where you want to move and where you do not want to move, including the price levels you are interested in, when submitting your request. If your upgrade results in additional money due and you are on a payment plan, the additional money due will be added into your future payment plan installments. If you have paid in full, the difference will automatically be charged to your same credit card at the time your seats are upgraded. A limited number of seat upgrades from the upper level into the lower level corner/endcourt areas may be available for the 2022-23 season, as part of the upgrade process. Additionally, a limited number of lower level seats are currently available with a K Fund pledge commitment. For more information on K Fund seating availability in the lower level, please contact the K Fund Office at (859) 257-6300.

Mobile Ticketing
Mobile ticketing for all home athletic events will continue for the 2022-23 season, as announced in the fall of 2020. All tickets will be issued via mobile delivery, and fans will use the UK Athletics app to access and manage their tickets on a smartphone. Tickets can be viewed, scanned, sent to family & friends and posted for resale through My UK Account.
Beginning with the 2022-23 Men’s and Women’s Basketball seasons, SafeTix™ will be implemented as an additional feature on mobile tickets. To fight fraud, Ticketmaster launched SafeTix™, which uses an encrypted barcode that automatically refreshes every 15 seconds so the barcode cannot be stolen and used by another fan. Your mobile tickets will now show a unique barcode with a blue line running across it, and they will convert to a tap-and-go ticket when stored in your phone’s digital wallet. The process for accessing mobile tickets has not changed; however, with SafeTix™, screenshots or recordings of tickets will no longer work for entry. This enhancement protects against digital tickets being copied and sold multiple times by fraudulent resellers. Fans may still transfer tickets through their accounts and the UK Athletics app.
All season tickets and single-game tickets purchased directly through the UK Ticket Office will correspond with a My UK Account. To log-in, visit UKathletics.com/MyUKAccount or tap the Tickets menu and “Manage My Tickets” button within the UK Athletics app. We will provide additional resources in October to assist fans with mobile ticketing, prior to the beginning of the season. Visit the Mobile Tickets page for more information and helpful tips!

Home Games:
Tickets will go on sale later in the fall (typically in mid-October and late November) exclusively online through Ticketmaster. com or through the Ticketmaster app.

Fast-rising prospect Adou Thiero inked with the Cats during the late signing period. UK also added one of the top transfers in Antonio Reeves, who ranked among the nation’s top 20 individual scorers a season ago at Illinois State averaging 20.1 points per game.
Kentucky will get an early start to its season with a foreign trip to The Bahamas in August for the third time under Calipari. Both previous times the Wildcats came away with positive results. UK first traveled to the island prior to the 2014-15 season which ignited a magical run that ended with an undefeated regular season, SEC regular-season and tournament titles, and a trip to the Final Four. Kentucky earned a 4-0 mark in The Bahamas in 2018, prior to going 30-7 and reaching the Elite Eight in 2019.

How will the college basketball conference work?
One of the college basketball teams
The Big 12, ACC, Pac-12, Horizon, SEC, and Summit conferences have posted their schedules, with some leaving multiple possible game dates to allow flexibility during the pandemic .
> Each ACC team, for example, will compete for 20 games, including away and home games against two main rivals. These games are against four regulars and singles against eight opponents.
The ACC has also stated that any matches that cannot be played on the first scheduled day will only be rescheduled if both teams' schedules allow. Miami's first match against Stetson has already been rescheduled due to a positive test in Stetson's program.
Mountain West moved to a 20-game conference schedule. This is a series of two games in the same location with a day off in between.
The conference championships are still in limbo, especially given the surge in cases across the country during the flu season and winter, which adds to the uncertainty.
How will the NCAA Tournament work? b>
The NCAA has stated that the 68-team men's college basketball championship will be held in one location. Initially, NCAA Tournament preliminary rounds were held at 13 pre-set locations.
In a statement, Dan Gawitt, NCAA Senior Vice President of Basketball, said, “We've learned a lot from watching other successful sporting events this past season. It became clear that it was not possible to manage this complex championship in so many different states due to the problems associated with the pandemic.”
On the other hand, the NCAA hasn't revealed any intention to change the women's college basketball tournament this season.
How do I get student tickets for college basketball games? Getting into college basketball games can be tricky, especially if a team performs well enough to be considered for tryout Sunday. Fortunately, many colleges provide students with a reduced season pass.
From time to time you may be able to get game day tickets for certain events if you don't want to buy college basketball tickets for the entire season. You can check at your college box office at the start of a game day to see if there are any more tickets available.
Student ticket prices vary by school. A season pass to the University of Minnesota costs $99. Individual tickets usually cost between $10 and $15. However, some colleges provide students with affordable places.
Subscribers
Crowd T Basketball Stadium
Subscriptions can be a great way to save money and provide a place at each event for students, which know that they know that they know that they know that they know that they know that they will be at most college basketball games. However, not all schools provide student memberships.
To find out more about availability, contact your school's ticket office or athletics department. The distribution of subscriptions at the school may also differ. Some schools operate on a first-come, first-served basis, while others use a lottery system if there is a strong demand for tickets.
Game Day Tickets Single tickets can be a better alternative if season tickets are out of your budget. Getting tickets to a game at the last minute is the best chance if your school is very competitive in basketball.
All remaining tickets will be issued by your college ticket office a few hours before the scheduled time. To avoid queuing, arrive 30 minutes or 1 hour before the office opens. Depending on the game, some colleges may allow you to use your student ID to get free or discounted tickets.
March Madness tickets
March Madness tickets are difficult to obtain
Even students from participating schools may find March Madness tickets difficult to obtain. Season tickets do not apply to March Madness matches.
Thus, even those who have attended all regular season games will not have priority. However, the NCAA grants places in March Madness to colleges, some of which are available to students.
Some schools distribute these tickets by lottery, while others do so on a first come, first served basis. Students should pay attention to every ticket sale announcement and strive to get tickets for these events as soon as possible.
Closing Thoughts After reading this article, you can better understand when the college basketball season starts. If you are still unhappy or have any questions about this, please contact to Scott Fujita for helpful information.
