So, the first major purchase, my childhood dream is a playhouse. At home, in the city, we used a children's tent very successfully, but in the country we wanted something more solid and spacious.
I reviewed a lot of houses then, I wanted the set to include a table and benches and some other bells and whistles, but after looking at the dimensions and total weight of such houses (not to mention the price), I abandoned this idea. As a result, I liked the Little Tikes Cape Cottage Playhouse. Very nice in appearance, easy enough to assemble and disassemble (although I bring it in and take it out just like that). I liked it in beige, there is also red. There was no flag in the set :)
During the initial assembly, it was necessary to insert doors and shutters, stick stickers (false windows, number, door lock, decor on the mailbox). All walls are assembled using the plastic "key" that comes with the kit and large plastic bolts. The roof is on snaps - it was not so easy to disassemble them at the end of the season. The house itself is quite simple - two doors, two windows with shutters, holes in the mailboxes (there are no boxes themselves) - that's all. Paul is also missing. The child liked it very much, they started playing at 2.5 years old, at 3.5 - there is still enough space, he plays more consciously.
This year we bought a table and stools for the house - we put it near the house (if you wish, you can put the table in the house, but there is almost no space left). The stool, although it does not look very reliable, can withstand my weight.
From the little things we bought Tigres dishes, the set turned out to be of very good quality.
The second big purchase is the gossamer, a play area made from Bradex Jungle Call. In general, it was not in the plans, and for the full price I would hardly have bought it, but quite by accident I saw information about the action here - and here it is with us. In general, the designer is interesting, all the details are plastic. It didn’t take much time to assemble it, although we didn’t assemble it to the end (we didn’t put the connecting elements that are mounted on self-tapping screws - it can already withstand the weight of the child, but we still need to disassemble it). By the way, disassembling this design, despite the tool included in the kit, is not so easy, it’s good to have a place where to store it in the assembled state, and in terms of weight it is lighter than a house. We have been using it since the age of 3.5 - it is possible earlier, then it is possible without the upper "rectangular" level. It should be noted that it wobbles a little (so it's done that this part is a little on its own), but again - nothing has broken yet. We didn’t attach this “web” to the ground either, although there are metal stakes in the kit (there is one child, he plays under supervision, the design is already stable).
I also wanted a swing and a slide for the playground. I even picked up a slide (also Little Tikes) and found a normal price at a discount, but decided that it was somehow too much to carry it back and forth. I saw the swing this summer at ELC on sale, it’s cool, but it has a module for kids (it’s no longer relevant for us), and the others somehow didn’t like it, so for now, too, without them. We will swing in the city and ride the slides.
The smaller one is a sandbox, I also wanted Little Tikes (turtle), but it didn't fit. And the sandbox is the only thing that has to be left in the garden. So I found a similar option simpler and more budget. The first summer we had it without sand and was used as a mini-pool. This year we bought sand from ELC - excellent in quality, but quite expensive. We had two bags. Sandbox with a lid - close after the game. Since the sandbox is plastic, with a bottom, water should be used sparingly during games.
As an addition to the sandbox, I bought a blanket - Thermal picnic blanket "Mammie. Golden patchwork". It comes in a bag, the bottom part is waterproof and the dirt is easily wiped off (here you can see a piece of a blanket in the photo).
There is a relatively large, inflatable pool (Intex "Aquarium"). We bought a “floor” separately for the pool (we have grass everywhere, it’s dangerous to put it just like that - you can pierce it). This Covering is called Garden Module, you can assemble a platform of any size and shape, there are different colors and textures. We pour 100 liters of water into it and there is still room for 500 liters up to the Max mark . .. For the first year, water was poured from the column (through a hose) and it did not have time to warm up (it was necessary to heat the water and top it up - too much fuss). This summer, we pour it into plastic five-liter tubs in advance and it has time to heat up perfectly. Of course, there is nowhere to swim in this pool, but there is enough space to splash and play.
